I live in Hawaii and since the sun is intense here all year round, sunscreen use is a must. I have sensitive skin and always end up with breakouts after using sunblock. Neutrogena products are great especially if you have sensitive skin like me. I bought this for my husband because he is a landscaper. This product stays put.....he sweats alot working in the hot tempuratures all day and needs something that doens't need to be applied often and does not melt off. This is the product. I don't know what Neutrogena was thinking with this sunscreen. There is so much fragrance in it that it irritates my skin (which I don't really consider sensitive), making it sting as if I had just put rubbing alcohol all over my face. Not to mention the fact that the scent is so strong it can be overpowering. It also seems to make my face a bit peely (I don't know if that's from dryness or because the sunscreen itself is peeling on my face). This sunscreen is superior to all other sunscreens that I have ever used. I spend a lot of time outdoors in the summer, and I hate when sunsreens "sweat off" your skin. Because this Neutrogena sunscreen is smooth, non-greasy, and absorbs quickly into your skin, it doesn't smear off your skin as easily--even with vigorous activity. It also comes in SPF 70--the highest I've seen. my daughter's been using this forever, she's the type that burns pretty easily, this is the only one she can put on her face without getting all pimply. she loves it, it's light and greaseless and lives up to what it says. — however we still use the spray on stuff on the arms and legs, but who wants to spray their face for goodness sake, it's scarey. — so if you're biking, hiking or just even outdoors, protect yourself (especially the face) that's one sensitive area for sure. — don't just put on olay and go, use this stuff instead and it works under makeup too. —… read full review »

I won a large tube of this in a contest and was thrilled because sunscreen is expensive and I happen to like another Neutrogena sunblock that I can't seem to find anymore. The tube says "ultra light clean feel" It doen't feel light at all--I have to rub my face more than I like to at my age(40 something) and even then, I FEEL it sitting on my skin. Ewww. And the scent is very chemical, bug spray smelling to me. Given what a heavy-duty sunscreen this seems like, since it has a really high SPF and is actually labeled as sunblock and not just moisturizer or similar, you'd expect this product to be rather heavy and greasy. However, as the packaging says, it has an "ultra light clean feel." My skin feels a little greasy at the end of the day when I take it off, but really, you couldn't ask for anything better than that if you want to wear SPF 55, right? I was cruising in the caribbean to Honduras and Belize which is the closest place I have ever been to the equator. I burned so bad and had sun poison from it. I was cruising again in 13 days. I was extremely nervous about the burn and going back into the sun. This was suggested to me by my mom. I tired it on my face and it didn't burn at all. This and the Neutrogena spray are absolutely my favorite sunscreens. The face stick from Neutrogena is a close third. — — It has a wonderful light fragrance. It is not greasy. Neutrogena Ultra Sheer, Dry-Touch Sunblock SPF 55 is pretty much amazing. I burn horribly whenever in the sun, and mainly get tons of freckles in the end. All of that pain from getting sunburnt makes me want to cover up my entire body and never go out and play in the sun. But this stuff had changed all that for me.
