I had the unfortunate experience of really damaging my hair after trying to bleach it out at home (I would not recommend ever trying this!). I definitely learned the hard way that a professional should always be doing this for me! All that being said, I purchased Neutrogena's Triple Moisture Pure Strength Conditioning Treatment to help with this problem. It REALLY helped bring my hair back to healthy. It was not perfect, but after a week, I could tell a huge difference in the dried out ends that were breaking a lot more than usual. My ends felt softer, were not breaking anymore, and my hair was shinier after using this product for that amount of time. I keep it on hand now just in case my hair ever gets damaged like that again. I know now that I need to have a professional to bleach my hair, but having this product on hand is great whenever my hair needs get some TLC. It does not take too long before it starts to look healthier and then I can put it away until I need it again. I would definitely recommend using this product on severely damaged hair.

I think that this product is a bit expensive for my daily range and for what I usually spend on conditioners and products. Having said that, I still think that the product is really nice, if I need a lift or if my hair is feeling a little bit dry. I don't think it's good for everyday use because it makes my hair a bit weighed down, but I love it for some conditioning and help within my hair.

the front of the tube says, " proven to strengthen and restructure severely weakened hair after just one use." I admit I have abused my hair a lot in the past year......way too many colorings and blow dryer use. It was looking and feeling very "fried". I was planning to get most of it cut off and start all over when I could find a good salon. I have used the Neutrogena intensive mask in the jar, and that softened, but didn't make my hair look better....just felt less dry. But this was on sale so I tried it. Like a lot of women.....I'll try anything new that claims to repair damage. After using it one time the curl pattern in my hair was much more defined with a LOT less "fuzziness". It moisturizes without weighing the curls down one bit. I have used it 3 times over the past week (in case the first time was a fluke) and my curls have looked amazing every time. Defined, full of "bounce" and second day hair is a breeze. Anyone with curly hair knows what a task it is to get them just right.....and this conditioner delivers!!!!!

This leaves my hair just as soft and it costs a fifth of what I was spending. I haven't used anything else in ages.

Neutrogena Triple Moisture Pure Strength conditioning Treatment is the only hair conditioner my daughter and I use.  Coupled with their Triple Strength Moisturizing Shampoo, it works very well on our hair.  We both have nearly waist length hair - medium thickness - and this does the job to keep it tangle free and smooth and shiny.  Unlike other conditioners which feel gloppy when applied and smoothed through the hair, this one has a thick yet light feel to it.  Even with long hair, a few dabs throughout is all it takes to moisturize and condition our hair.  Ever since the conditioner we used to use was taken off the market, and we tried a few others, we've used this one for a couple years now.  It leaves no residue after it's rinsed out, and our hair is easy to comb.  My daughter used to get lots of tangles but not anymore.  And if she gets one or two on occasion, they are easy to work out, thanks to the effects of this conditioner.

I have a really thing, wavy hair, and now, living in a really dry area like Boise, Idaho, my hair gets dry all year round. During summer, it gets dry because of the low humidity in the air. During winter, gets dry because of the low temperatures. At first, since my hair was really dry and damaged, I bought the Neutrogena Triple Moisture Deep Recovery Hair Mask. Once that made my hair softer and stronger, I started using only the Conditioning Treatment. I use it once every three days and it's enough for my hair, it makes my waves get really soft and defined. I never used with the Neutrogena Triple Moisture Shampoo, so I don't know how much that would improve the treatment, but I use it with my regular shampoo and it works great. After I use it, sometimes I don't even apply a leave-in: I can just dry it a little bit and my hair gets perfect. I don't even have to worry about frizz. Is not very expensive (I wouldn't say that's cheap either) but is worth the price if your hair is damaged, or very dry. I use and totally recommend.
