I applied it with both brush and beauty blender but sometimes it looked cakey! I love the coverage at times but then after a while my face will dry up and look cakey

Over the years I have tried numerous brands of makeup. Some makeup brands worked out okay for my skin while other makeup brands didn't do my skin any justice. I have sensitive skin that is also ance prone. When I came across Neutrogena SkinClearing Liquid Makeup I was very excited by it's claims. From my personal experience with this makeup it did not cause my skin to clear up but made my skin problems worst. I literally felt like my skin was being suffocated underneath the liquid makeup. My skin was always oily and my face began to breakout with pimples. The makeup rubbed off very easily onto my clothing which I did not care for nor expect. I am sure this makeup works well with other consumers skin but it was a total flop in my opinion. After trying out this makeup for 3 weeks I tossed the remaining liquid makeup for I had no use for it. Overall I was not satisfied with this particular product.

This is such a cool product from Neutrogena! Adding Salicylic Acid to a liquid foundation is pure genius. I've been wishing that someone would do this for years. If you're like me and you always put on a layer of acne medication before applying your makeup, then this foundation can eliminate that step from your morning routine. I was so excited when I saw this product on the store shelf! I found my shade and bought a bottle right away. Now, on to the reason that I only rated this foundation a seven. I don't like the amount of coverage it offers. I didn't feel like this looked as natural on my skin as it should have. Also, I didn't think that this lasted all day. A few hours after application it was pretty much gone. Lastly, it has no SPF. I wish they hadn't left out sun protection when they added the acne medication. Salicylic Acid generally makes you more sensitive to the sun's rays so it would really make sense to include sunscreen. I prefer to use a CC cream, but if Neutrogena would at least make this acne fighting foundation in a BB cream I might consider buying it again.

I have wanted a foundation that was good for my skin and also would keep my skin clear even when wearing make-up. So I went on the search for some make-up that did just what I wanted it to do. I came across Neutrogena Skin Clearing Liquid Makeup it had mixed reviews but I figured I would try it out anyways. So I first tried it out when I got home because I was so excited. When I started to put some on my foundation sponge I was kind of disappointed in the texture of the foundation. I was hoping for a nice thick and creamy foundation but what I got was just a really watery foundation. I was so disappointed in it because I was hoping I would have gotten something I was hoping for. So I thought maybe is I shook it would be better. So after shaking it for a good while I tried again but I got the same results as before. It didn't cover up anything on my face and it left it feeling oily and thick. I do not like the product but that is me and what I wanted.

I'm never too bothered when products don't do what they say on the bottle. After all, everyone has different skin, which means that every product is not going to work for me. However, I'm always downright confused when products do the exact opposite of what they say. And this product is one of those confusing ones. After using this foundation for just 3 days, I started breaking out like crazy. At first, I didn't attribute the breakouts to this foundation, as I'd been trying a few different things in my routine. I experimented, and stopped using each product in turn. I finally found out that this was the little devil mucking up my face. I gave this foundation 3 different attempts over the course of 3 months. Every time I used it on clear skin, I'd have breakouts the next day. Not something I expecting from a "skin clearing" product. I was disappointed that this happened because I found the foundation effortless to apply. It blended seamlessly into my skin, and the color match was incredible. This foundation had average wear time: about 8 hours.

My skin is very acne-prone and this oil-free makeup is just about the only one I can wear without causing breakouts. Sometimes I even forget to take it off at night before going to bed and when I wake up in the morning it still looks as if it had just been applied.

This foundation is my go-to make up purchase because the colors blend really well with my skin and the little bit of salicylic acid is good for helping with blemishes. I can put the make up on, guilt-free, because I know the medicine will help will acne while covering it up!

Neutrogena SkinClearing Liquid Makeup is an interesting concept but to me it kind of failed. What I found with this makeup is that it goes on very well but it dries hard. I felt like I had a clay mask on. I also found that while it was a decent makeup, it did not clear my skin at all. It did not make me break out, though. I would have to give this a 6/10 because it's a decent foundation but it doesn't necessarily clear your skin much.

This product gives you good coverage and a super natural look. After two layers of foundation I still look natural and barefaced. However this product tens to get oily on the skin and I typically don't get oily. However setting it with some power and touching up around lunch time during the day works just great! I am tin the shade 06 warm beige and I am around an NC 30-35 in Mac is depends on how much sun I get and its a great color match, however since it is winter time, I like to highlight my face to tone down the warm hue of the foundation. Lastly, it is so reassuring to have skin clearing blemish treatment in this foundation! It really does help clear the skin and medicate acne. I break out badly on my cheeks and even though it doesn't really prevent blemishes, it really does help help them faster. Overall, I would definitely recommend this to a friend and it is a great natural looking foundation with good coverage for everyday.

I have hormonal acne, and combination skin. Sometimes it's oily, and sometimes it can be quite dry. Most of the time my skin can't really make up it's mind. Finding a foundation for most people can be disaster, especially me, but this is a really great foundation. It has amazing medium to full coverage, and kept my combination skin from getting too oily. This foundation isn't called skin clearing foundation for no reason. I've seen noticeable results from using this foundation over a short period of time, one week to be exact. It helped control my breakouts, and kept my skin smooth and looking great. It helped shrink my large pores, and also helped clear up my skin as well. I noticed my acne scars and blemishes start to fade. My skin overall started looking a lot more healthy than it was before. If you have acne prone skin, and are worried about your pores getting clogged, I would definitely recommend trying out this foundation. And for the price there is nothing to loose with this foundation.
