The Verdict - Neutrogena Rapid Clear Oil-Control Foaming Facial Cleanser is very nice and I'm glad my dermatologist recommended it.
The Facts - I've strugged with acne since I was in my early teens. You'd think now that I'm pushing 40 that I would have grown out of it but unfortunately I haven't. I've tried nearly every acne product that exists but nothing completely clears me up. So a few months ago I went to a new dermatologist who prescribed oral antibiotics which have cleared up my skin in a big way. Now I only break out very occasionally like if I go to bed with hand cream on and I sleep with my face on my hand.
In addition to the antibiotics she suggested a number of cleansers for me to use to help keep my acne controlled. I bought many of the items she recommended but one of my favorites is Neutrogena Rapid Clear Oil-Control Foaming Facial Cleanser.
This cleanser is pure white in color and quite thick. A little bit of it goes a long way so the six ounces bottle of cleanser which is about $7 lasts me a long time. Months, in fact. When I apply it to my wet face a soft soothing lather is created that cleanses well and leaves my skin feeling very clean but not stripped, tight, or dried out. It also seems to control the oiliness of my skin thru out the day. I usually start to feel a little oily and icky by lunchtime but when I use this cleanser I don't get that feeling until later in the day.
Star Power - *****Five Stars***** I love the way this cleanser makes my skin feel, it is economical and it totally controls the oil.
