So Easy to use on Kids! I have bought it many times!

This sunscreen has been great for the little faces in our family. I read about it first in a magazine when my first was little, I had been trying to put the "liquid" kind on her face but she would always wiggle and it would end up in her hair or on the floor. I went out to look for this right away when I read about it, she also has very sensitive skin so getting a gentle product was very important to me. This worked great! It is not messy and I love the long slender shape I feel like I get more coverage and only have to swipe across her face a few times to get it covered. It also is easy to apply to my kids ears. I have now used this product for four years and two children and it has never caused a break out and they have never gotten a burn while wearing it. Their faces do look a bit white when I apply it even after doing a bit of rubbing in, but I think that is part of how it works. It is a thick deodorant like consistency. Scent Love that it has very little scent!

Stick It To The Sun With This Block

I had read very good reviews of this product in one of my fashion magazines. I like the idea of a Pure and Free line and if it worked for a baby, it was certainly going to be a product an adult can appreciate. I traveled to Phuket, Cambodia and Hong Kong in April 2012 and I wanted a block that would be easy to reapply, especially to my face and lips. I also hike and run outside in the summer at home and I want something that is easy to keep in the gym bag. The one HUGE downside, is that it is chalk white when it goes on and pretty much stays that way. I did not realize it until my daughter asked me what was on my face. After that I applied and gave it a bit of a rub in. It did not melt in the heat on the beach in Phuket or Hilton Head later in the summer. If you can keep it in a cooler while on the beach all the better. Gentle on my skin and good coverage keep me using it, just not while I am shopping in downtown Kowloon! Scent No discernible scent Absorption White, white, white residue

It's safe for little faces, but leaves a chalky white residue.

I like the convenience of a sunblock stick for kids because it's easily controlled around the eyes, and isn't messy to apply - especially if they're squirmy. This sunblock does protect the skin, but I don't like the chalky white residue it leaves behind. It is also a little thicker than most sun sticks I've used, it doesnt glide as easily over the skin. Scent I have never noticed a scent, pleasant or unpleasant. Absorption After a typical application, the skin is white and chalky, not sure if you need to rub it in to make sure it's effective, or if the white residue is normal. Either way, I prefer a clear, smooth application.

From what I understand...you are not to put sunscreen on your baby until he or she is six months old.  Rules change year to year but despite living in Alabama I have upheld this rule.  If this is you first child...you will soon discover one of the most difficult things you do in life is put sunscreen on your small child..Mine would run for the hills but even to just play outside for fifteen minutes here you need sunscreen.  I discovered the Nuetrogena baby sun products this past summer and life has changed....The pink baby sunscreen does not smell like "the beach" and it is not even CLOSE to being greasy.  The cream does not ooze all over clothes and your baby does not slip out of your arms after an application.  The stick enables me to do a quick pass over their faces whenever I can get within arms reach of the kids and I don;t have to worry about the tube squishing in my purse.  You won;t end up with sunscreen caked in between your fingeres when you use the stick.  You can even get a dad to use this.  I love the stick for last minute trips to the park when all the other kids are running for the playground...you can just slide this on your kid's skin in a few seconds and they are off and protected.  This will be in our bag next summer wihthout a doubt.

Perfect for those little faces!

Skin cancer became a very serious issue in our family after I watched my father have large chunks of his face cut away when he was diagnosed with melanoma.  I know that's pretty bold and gross to talk about right off the bat, but hopefully it will "scare" someone into taking sunscreen protection seriously.  My dad was in his 80's, but was told he most likely suffered the damage as a young boy working outside all day on the railroad with no protection whatsoever.   Although my kids are fairly dark complected, thanks to their Spanish/American Indian father, I still take protection from the sun very seriously. This sunblock comes in a stick form which makes it very easy to apply.  It is not greasy, but does have a somewhat thick presence on the skin.  When I apply it, it comes out very white, almost pinkish, so once it is applied, I then smooth it over the skin to rub it in.  My kids do not like having their faces manipulated, but they do tolerate this since it is such a quick and painless process. Best of all is the peace of mind that those precious little faces are protected from the harshness of the sun!

Great Sublock for little ones

This is the only sunblock that my kids did not get a rash from.  It was easy to apply and small enough to carry everywhere with me.  It protected my kids well from the sun.  I love this sunblock and will be buying more for sure!
