I bought Neutrogena oil-free eye makeup remover at a local drugstore when it was on sale and must say I am pretty pleased with it!

I am not one to wear a lot of eye makeup but needed something gentle for the times that I do use it. I am also a contact lens wearer and this product is recommended as being safe and gentle.

You have to gently shake the bottle before using to combine the ingredients. I then used a round cotton pad with just a small amount on it to thoroughly remove all of my eye makeup. Just a few wipes and everything is gone! Some people have complained about there being an oily residue left on skin but I didny experience that. I always washed my face as usual after removing eye makeup anyway. If you do feel a slight residue it would be completely removed with just a little warm water. I dont think you can expect any product to leave your skin completely "clean".

I think this is a very effective product and does exactly what its meant to do.

I love this product. Neutrogena Oil Free makeup remover works great, removes even mascara easily and leaves no residue on my skin. I have used other makeup removers in the past with disasterous results...some made my skin break out, others burned my eyes when I used them to remove eye makeup. I tried the make up removing cloths, with little success. Then I found the Neutrogena Oil Free Make up remover..at first I was skeptical, since I had tried so many other products, but since I needed something to remove the make up, I was looking once again in the drugstore aisle. I had heard good things about the Neutrogena brand and when I saw that they had an oil free version, I thought it might be better for my skin and could only hope it would work. To my delight I can say both things are true..it works great, removes make up with ease and leaves my skin in great condition. This a a truly great make up remover.

This was one of the first makeup removers that I have ever used. I find that it works really well at removing all of my eye makeup. It is also very gentle. I wear contact lenses and have sensitive eyes, and I find that Neutrogena does not irritate. I've also found that one bottle lasts a really long time(at least in my case). A little goes a long way which makes this a value. I buy about one bottle and it will last me 6 months or longer.  I do not wear heavy makeup but when I have, you do have to use a little more of the product. I would buy this over any department store prestige brand. I have used Clinique, Estee lauder and Lancome but have not seen a major advantage over Neutrogena that would warrant me paying the increased price. I love everything that Neutrogena makes and find that this product is no exception. I would recommend this to my family and friends. It is a great product at a great price.

This eye makeup remover works very well at taking off makeup around your eyes without stinging your eyes, or irritating the skin around my eyes. I bought it at a local drugstore, Walgreens, while it was on sale. I was impressed with the size of the bottle, and amount of makeup remover you get for the price. It seems a small amount of the liquid goes a long way. I was even more impressed the first time I used it to remove some liquid eyeliner, and it came off easily with the Neutrogena Makeup Remover on a soft cotton ball and a couple wipes. while this eye makeup remover comes highly recomended, i have some problems with it. First, it has to be shaken instantly before you use it or else it settles and you get greasiness on your eye. Second, it irritates my eyes. If i get too much on my cotton ball or need to rub my eyes after I use it, my eyes sting and are really irritated. it's not soothing like other eye make up removers ive used, and tends to leave a little bit of residue rather than soak into my skin and moisturize. On the positive sidee it does remove my eye makeup pretty well, including waterproof mascara, but sometimes i notice smudge marks of leftover eye makeup in the morning, which really shouldn't happen in my opinion. Another bonus is that the bottle seems to last FOREVER. I can't get rid of mine, even though i want to get a new brand. And i use it every single night. So you definitely get your money's worth with this remover, but be prepared for a few side effects

This is probably one of the BEST makeup removers I have ever used!! I used to just borrow my moms when I lived at home but dreaded having to take off my eye makeup because it would leave my skin super oily with makeup still stuck to my eyes.

I ventured out once I moved out of my house and discovered this magic in a bottle. It is super gentle and leaves no greasy residue on my skin. It also removes waterproof mascara without a problem.

My only complaint: I used to be able to buy the larger bottle all the time. I cant seem to find the larger bottles anywhere!! I go through the small ones way too fast and they are most definitely pricey but I could care less about the price because I like it that much!

Because I wear contac lenses, it is necessary that my mascara is waterproof. I usually have to adjust my lenses several times a day with moisture drops and cleaning. Before I started wearing waterproof mascara, the regular kind did not last very long and ended up getting in my eyes, which is not very healthy or sanitary. But getting waterproof mascara off is hard if you don't have the right tools. I was thrilled when I found this product. A little on a cotton ball takes off every bit of the mascara and it does not burn my eyes. Neutrogena is a great product. They usually have good coupons to make this purchase an even better buy. It must work well. When I was searching for a product to suit my needs, there was only one bottle of this left. I highly recommend this product to anyone that must use waterproof products. When I needed a product to remove waterproof mascara, I looked to the Neutrogena line of products. I have very sensitive skin and Neutrogena is usually the product line I go for. The Neutrogena oil-free eye makeup remover is advertised to remove stubborn eye makeup, so I went for it.

It looks kind of interesting because the product is advertised as oil-free, but the liquid is separated inside the bottle like oil and water would be. I decided to try the Neutrogena oil-free eye makeup remover because it was a much cheaper drug store alternative to what you can find at cosmetic stores or department stores. I was pleasantly surprised with how well it worked and removed even heavy eye makeup thoroughly, without too much rubbing of the sensitive eye area. One thing you must remember to do is shake the bottle before each time you use it, as there are two layers of liquid that have separated if the bottle has been sitting on the counter for a while. Also, I recommend using this product with cotton squares you can find at any drug store, rather than tissue or cotton balls. Overall I would say this is a great product and would recommend it if you are on a budget and don't want to pay $20+ for an eye makeup remover.

I do not wear make up very often, but when I do, I tend to go overboard. Which means, I need a makeup remover that can kick butt. I have tried other brands, but Neutrogena is the only one that works well consistently. It gets off my gel eye liner, multiple shades of eye shadow, primer, and most importantly - my mascara. It works well so you do not need to rub it into your eye until your eye is red. Just a nice, soft cotton ball will do it.

I have to wear mascara every day since my eyelashes are so pale, so I wanted a good makeup remover so I'd stop having that deep line under my eyes after I washed my face. Overall this makeup remover does a decent enough job. If I rinse it off with water like it says, it doesn't leave any kind of residue on my skin. But, I don't feel like it really gets the mascara off very well. I'm not even using waterproof, just regular mascara. I have to go over my eyes several times to get it off, and sometimes I have to be less than gentle which kind of defeats the point. It doesn't irritate my eyes the way soap does, which is why I bought it. I usually like Neutrogena products. I just feel like this one could do it's job better. It does get my eyeshadow off fairly easily, I just wish it could get the mascara at the same time. I have dark enough under-eye circles without a mascara ring! I haven't tried any others, but once this bottle is used up, I won't be buying another one.

Neutrogena Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover is the best drugstore brand out there! It is so gentle to the delicate skin around my eyes. Eye make-up just seems to melt off and there is no need to rub at it. This is even true for the most waterproof of mascaras, for the smokiest of eyes! This formula doesn't dry out my skin while removing off my make-up either. The oil free solution is perfect for my sensitive skin and doesn't make me break out. One bottle usually lasts quite a while. The price is definitely reasonable as well and I love how easily accessible it is. I can find it in any drugstore around me and usually with a great in-store deal as well. Why would you pay more at a department store and deal with the crazy mall parking, if you can find something just as good or even better for cheaper and a lot less hassle! I would say overall a great price for less hassle, equals one awesome deal!

Easily Removes Eye Makeup

I have been using this makeup remover to remove eye shadow, eye liner and mascara for many years now and it works so quickly and easily.  It comes in a pretty small bottle but a little goes a long way so the product will last you for quite some time.  It makes stubborn eye make-up dissapear and all you have to do is just put a small amount on a cotton pad and then swipe across your eye lid.  My only complaint about it is that once you wipe it on, it leaves an oily residue on your skin.  What I normally do to combat the oily feeling on my eyelids is put some astringent on a cotton pad and go over my eye lids after I finish removing the make-up.  Compared to other products I think the Neutrogena Oil-Free Eye Makeup Remover takes off your make-up faster and also doesn't have any harsh scents or chemicals that might irritate your eyes.  It is very safe to use on your eye area.  Overall, I think this product is excellent!

I was introduced to Neutrogenas Oil Free Eye Makeup Remover through my college roommate. Previously, I never thought that eye makeup remover was really necessary and figured I could clean my eye makeup through basic cleanser/face wash and water. Little did I know that while I was scrubbing away at my undereyes and unsuccessfully trying to avoid getting soap in my eyes, there was an easy solution to all the late night raccoon eye mess: Neutrogenas Oil Free Eye Makeup Remover.

The eye makeup remover is gentle enough to use on the delicate eye area while effectively removing waterproof mascara, eyeliner and whatever glittery extras you may have used to get dolled up. It feels slightly oily when using against the skin but does not leave a greasy residue. Although the cap could be improved upon so that there is a little nozzle to prevent excess use and spilling, the bottle is basic enough to use as long as you do not spill it over on the counter!
