I have struggled with acne my entire life and am always looking for things to help it. I love this brand and decided to give this moisturizer a try. I was pleased with the results. I used it in the summer months and it did a great job at fighting acne. I could tell a difference in the acne on my face while using it. It also did a good job of not drying out my skin in the summer months. It did dry out my skin during the winter. I would recommend using it during times when your skin naturally produces more oil. Effectiveness I found it to be highly effective on my face. I noticed a big difference in the amount of acne that was on my face. It was not as effective on my neck and chest but those areas are more oily for me. Ease of Application It is incredibly easy to use. You just squeeze some in your hands and apply it to your face. It absorbs really well also. Convenience It is very easy and convenient to use after you wash your face. Side Effects I had no negative side effects during the summer months. It dried my skin out some in the winter. Immediacy It took about two weeks for me to see results.

I had high hopes when I purchased this. I loved the fact that it is a moisturizer and anti-acne in one bottle, because when I am moisturizing my face, I can also be fighting acne off at the same time. The only thing that I have a problem with is that this seems to only sit on the surface of my skin and it doesn't really make a noticeable difference in my skin at all.

I started using this moisterizer a couple months ago, and when I started using it, I noticed that it left my skin oily and greasy. It's also a bit pricey too, and it just feels like a layer a grime pasted onto my skin instead of actually getting deep down into the pores and moisterizing it properly like it's supposed to. i break out really easily, so i decided that i should get a lighter face lotion. the only problem is that in addition to acne, i have really dry skin too. soooo i tried neutrogena moisturizer, and i didnt like it AT ALL. it felt soo superficial.. more like oil instead of a lotion. it just stayed on top of my skin and felt so weird and uncomfortable. it looked like a layer of sweat instead of actually moisturizing my face. i had really bad dry skin while using this product, but the layer of lotion just made my face shiny and the dry skin look so odd. my acne didnt even get better, at least it looked that way. the shine on my face really brought even more attention to my blemishes, so i wasnt happy with this product at all. thats why i only gave it two stars. i guess my acne did improve a little bit, if im being honest and truthful, but it actually looked a lot worse because my face was oily and gross.

I would definately recommend the Neutrogena Anti Acne Moisterizer to anyone with mild to moderate acne who needs a decent moisterizer.  I began using it about 2 months ago and I have noticed a major improvement in my skin.  I have uneven skin tone and this product has started to even it out and definately helps keep my breakout under control. I even have a little scarring on my cheeks from acne and it has lightened it and made it much less noticeable.   Plus the older I get the more I need a basic daily moisterizer for my skin, and this product serves that purpose as well.  I also use other Neutrogena acne products and after using them my skin feels a little dry and this moisterizer soothes and hydrates my skin very nicely.  I definately recommend this to everyone.  It has a pleasant smell and feel when you apply it.  Im not sure if this product would work on severe acne but for mild to moderate acne it is very effective.
