I used this product for two weeks and all my acne were gone! My skin was smooth and amazing, but unfortunally the producyt irritated my skin, so I had to stop using it. Overall this is a amazing product if you do not have sensitive skin.

I tried Neutrogena Oil-Free Acne Wash Pink Grapefruit Cream Cleanser after trying the scrub version, and found this to be a little bit gentler version. Since it's not a scrub, it doesn't have the same exfoliating effect. This is good if your skin is more sensitive, or you have a preferred way of exfoliating, but may be a downside if you want a deeper clean sensation. As with the scrub, the fragrance of the product is really pleasing, and is miles ahead of other acne products which are often pretty offensive smelling due to the chemicals. This cleanser is creamy and luxuriously thick, almost feeling like a lotion when you smear it on, but still cleanses the face well. I wouldn't rely on this as a spot treatment, or to treat stubborn breakouts, but rather rely on it more generally as a preventative measure against acne, and for daily cleansing use. I think this cream cleanser version feels more effective and is a better experience than the more gel- or soap-like facial cleanser version.

Excellent cleanser and it doesn't strip your skin. It has a very refreshing quality to it as well. It gets deep into pores and really cleans them out. Definitely recommend! Effectiveness Gives a very efficient clean. Leaves your skin glowing and exceptionally cleansed. Works really well on oily or combination. Ease of Application Very easy to use; just wet your face with warm water and lather it on. It is scrubby, so a little goes a long way and you do have to work the scrubbies into your face. Then you just wash it off -- couldn't be easier! Convenience This product is highly convenient to use. Just one step (cleanse) and done. Side Effects I didn't notice any side effects other than cleaner, more moisturized skin. Immediacy A week's wait isn't bad -- and in fact, I got some relief right away.

I rely on Neutrogena acne face wash to make me presentable to the world. This is a quality product that you can rely on. It works great and I have found nothing to match it. It is easy to use and easy to wash off leaving your face feeling fresh and clean. I have used this face wash for years, and I keep a couple in stock at all times so I won't run out. Effectiveness This is a product I am never without. My skin is still a mess at 42, but I can count on Neutrogena acne wash to help with that problem. It does not clear up 100% of my breakouts but it does a great job. When I use this product every morning and every night, like I should, I get great results. I have tried many other products and none of them live up to this face wash. Ease of Application Very easy to use. I get my hands just slightly wet and put a dab into my hands and then rub them together to get a small lather. From that point I apply it to my face and allow it to sit for a few minutes. You can wash it off right away if you have super sensitive skin or are just beginning to use the product. I have found I get the best results for my skin if I let it sit for a minute or two before I wash it off. Convenience It is easy to use and comes in an easy to dispense container. Side Effects I have never had any side effects from using this product. There are many products on the market I cannot use but, Neutrogena face wash has never give me any trouble and I know I can rely on it. Immediacy Usually takes about three days to clear up any acne that reveals itself.

Neutrogena took the power of the acne cream cleanser and added the scent of Pink Grapefruit. At first, this cleanser smells wonderful, but after awhile the scent takes on an acrid note. The cleanser itself is great. I really noticed that it helps my acne, but Neutrogena is a great company that is well known for its work with helping kill acne. I have ever had one issues with one of the products. The cream cleanser is nice because it really gets deep into my pores to clean out all of the dirt that has gotten into my face during the day. I really liked that aspect of this particular face cleanser. Let's go back to the scent of this acne cleanser. Like I said, at first, it smells very good. It catches your attention. Unfortunately, after having it on my face all day and smelling it, I started to notice that it has an acrid note, kind of like ammonia. My husband says he thinks it smells like cat urine. I, of course, immediately stopped using it. I am sorry if this is gross, but that is part of my review of this product. I do not recommend it for that problem. After he told me, it is all I could smell. It was horrible.

I like this product. I really do. I'm a huge fan of cream cleansers and this one isn't to bad. However, there are definitely better cream cleansers out there than this one. I'd recommend the Clean & Clear over this. Effectiveness I've found that all cream cleansers are fairly highly effective for my skin, which is a combination of dry and oily with a particularly oily t-zone. My acne is smaller, less noticeable, less red and there aren't as many pimples. My skin looks pretty clear, except for a few big pimples now and then. Ease of Application Cream cleansers are really lovely when it comes to ease of application. Unlike soaps, they don't have suds that slide everywhere and get into everything. Side Effects It can leave your skin a little dry and feeling tight afterwards, which is why when I use it, I generally lotion my face, but that's about it. There's a nice fresh feeling, like you've deep cleaned your pores or something, but I don't know if that actually happens. It feels nice though! The smell is a bit interesting. It smells ok but not amazing. It's not really a "grapefruit smell" per say, so use your judgement when it comes to that.

I have combination type skin so It is rare to find a product that works. This neutralized my skin, so now my skin is just clear. Not oily or dry. Ease of Application So easy, just apply to your face and massage into skin for 30 seconds. All you need is a washcloth and wash your face with warm water (to open your pores) and then apply the cream. Then after about 30 seconds. All you need to do is wash your face with cold water (To close your pores) Convenience If you're pressed for time this is the perfect product! it is easy to apply and doesn't take much. Side Effects I have not experienced any side effects, however that does not mean that there are none. So always be aware of any differences while using this product Immediacy For me, cleared up beginning spots in less than a week of use.

It smells just like grapefruit, as it claims. It cleans gently, and works very well for cleaning your pores. It's a very good product. I haven't bought anything else since I have used this because I like it so well. Effectiveness Since I have started using this product, I have far less acne. Ease of Application It is very easy since it's a squeeze tube. Convenience It's a very easy, one step wash. Side Effects If you are allergic to citrus fruit, you should avoid this product, or you may have a skin reaction.

At 36 years old I really don't want to look like I'm still 15 with a face full of zits. I also don't want to use a product that is going to be harsh on my skin and fast forward any aging processes. I have some combination skin which causes some breakouts, generally on a hormonal schedule. Due to this I continually search for a facial cleanser that will help break the break-outs.I had previously tried the Neutrogena Facial Scrub. While it worked, I didn't like the scrubbing beads very well. Since I had faith in Neutrogena, I chose the brand again with the Neutrogena Oil Free Cream Cleanser. Effectiveness The bottle claims to clear and prevent acne while leaving the skin soft. I would have to say it lives up to half of this statement. I use the cream cleanser almost daily and find it somewhat keeps acne at bay, but really they still pop up on a consistent basis. When I finish washing my face though, it feels very smooth and not dry at all like many facial cleansers do. Ease of Application This is an acne wash that contains Salicylic Acid, one of the primary cleaning agents for acne. As the title denotes this is a cream cleanser. This definitely took some getting used to as I'm used to either a scrub or a foaming cleanser. Housed in a tube the cream is nice and thick so I only need to use a small bit to effectively cover my face and neck. Side Effects The cleanser itself is virtually scent-free and goes on creamy (as to be expected). The part I didn't like was it has cooling-soothing agents (possibly mint?) that tend to burn any sensitive skin it comes in contact with. I am used to this now but the first few times I found myself with tingly eyes since the cleanser stayed on my fingers even after rinsing. Immediacy Neutrogena's oil free cream cleanser is much better at maintenance that clearing up what pops up.
