I have fair-medium olive toned skin and I gave this color a try because it was close to my natural lip color. I found that it is **very** shimmery, almost as if I'm wearing gloss. I am pleased with the long-lasting moisture and think I may even use this as a stand-in for my regular gloss. The color is pretty subdued, so it feels more like a mask than an enhancement. I might use this for work or daytime wear, or for nights out if I *don't* want my lips to be the focal point. All in all, I'd say it wasn't a very good investment. Although it's a versatile color, I'd rather stick with my (cheaper) flavored lip gloss.  The moisturizing properties are said to reduce lines over time... we'll see!
