I have been using this cleanser for years. It does a great job of removing oil and makeup. The product rinses easily without that slippery feeling and leaves my face feeling clean but not overly dry. It might be a bit drying if your skin is very dry. My husband likes it too, and even my teenage boys use it. Effectiveness This cleanser works well to remove most makeup except for waterproof mascara and eyeliner. I have tried another product that made my skin feel tingly, but I read that the tingly feeling is actually irritating and not a good thing for your skin. This product does make your skin feel that way. Ease of Application Easy plastic pump dispenser makes using the right amount hassle-free and fast. No messy bar or cap to unscrew. It is easy to use in the shower as well. Scent Great to have an unscented option for sensitive skin. Even the scented version is mild and neutral enough for the males in my family to use.

neutrogena liquid facial cleanser formula is part of my daily routine. i get these in a pack at the local whole sale warehouse for a cheaper price. i go through these in about 4 months. at first the scent was horrible but after a while you get used to the scent and maybe even grow to like it. this takes my cover up off and i lather it in my hands first then apply leave it for 25 seconds then use water to wash it off. it leaves my face clean and fresh and even takes off my makeup. i love the neutrogena brand. the color of the liquid is golden and reminds me of honey! it invigorates my skin and it looks brighter. the price is decent and well worth it. the bottle is classic and fits great on my sink counter.

If you can try to buy something else than this.This is just average, if you need a face wash just cause then get this. It smells funny, doesn't work that well and is a lile pricey. In this case quality doesn't match with the price. Achually this is one of the dissappointing products Neutrogena has made. They have made better products that this. The face wash feels akward on your face. It also really doesn't work or maybe the results take a LONG time to work. The smell is disgusting, it smells like palstic. Overall scented face wash is better. I recomend other products by Neutrogena then this. Buy this only if your face doesn't really need face wash, doesn't break out or if you don't have much money. This doesn't hurt the face but doesn't beneift. All it does is waste time anf money. Overall its boring, bland and doesn't work. Way to expensive for the quality. The packagin boring and orange face wash isn't the most appealing either.

I've tried this numerous times. I don't know why I do. This product does not do anything special to my skin. I might as well be using a generic soap bar. It makes a lather. Ok, bar soap does. I wash it off and there seems to be a cleaning taking place. Soap bar does that. I feel my face clean but nothing spectacular like feeling dead cells falling off. I have used other cleansers that have left my face with real removal of dead skin that has had the same consistency as this Neutrogena Liqud Facial Cleanser. For the price I pay for this cleanser, I'd rather use something less expensive that's equal to it. But then again, I'd rather use something that really feels like a cleanser. I've bought the package of two for a lesser price but I've often given the other one away for reluctance of having to use it. I always just wanted to buy another cleanser before finishing off the two. So, I don't agree to paying more for something it's not doing for me.

I first used Neutrogena Liquid Facial Cleanser years ago while visting a relative and had forgotten my toiletries. I have been a fan ever since. While the bottle is a bit expensive it doesn't take much to throughly clean my face. Unlike many facial cleansers which have burnt my skin before I have never had that problem with Neutrogena Liquid Facial Cleanser. My face doesn't feel like it's been stripped of it's moisture when I have finished cleaning my face. I love the pump on the bottle. The pump keeps germs out of the bottle and makes it very difficult to get too much product. No wasting. Even as my skin is changing as I am getting older the Neutrogena Liquid Facial Cleanser continues to be a good product for me.  I have recommended this facial cleaner to numerous friends over the past few years and will continue to do so. If they ever quit making this I will be heart broken.  Give this a try.

I find this product to be a good cleanser, but for my skin type it was drying for my skin. I have skin that is oily in the areas of my chin and fore head, yet drying in other areas. So, it might have been that I may have needed something for sensitve skin, since I have combination skin. I also at this late stage in life have had issues with acne, and found this product inaffective for this. For me, I would choose another product, due to my own skin issues. For someone with younger skin, I am sure it would work well.

Neutrogena is my favorite facial/acne cleanser to date.  This basic liquid cleanser is powerful on bactiria, dirt, impurities, and acne, but gentle enough on skin- leaving it clean and looking fresh. Definitely worth the extra pennies when compared to a genaric brand.

Neutrogena Liquid Facial Cleanser is a king amoung cleansers.  When you take the time to look at the prices of facial cleansers, this one is a great deal.  But that is not taking into account the quality of this product.  Neutrogene has been around for years and years.  I have fair, very dry skin and have been very disappointed at some of the results of other products.  They either dry my skin out or they don't do the job.  Neutrogena soap, so golden and clear has been a staple of my beauty regime for years.  The Liquid Facial Cleanser is also a long time friend. I know there are products that are glitzy and new and some are outright pricey, but with Neutrogena products, you know what you get.  You get quality, you get a product that has been used by millions for years and one you can actually afford.  This Liquid Facial Cleanser not only cleans my face, it doesn't dry it out and leaves me a little money to spend in other places.  Love it. Would buy it anytime.
