Neutrogena Lip Moisturizer's a particularly good product for the allergy-prone simply because there are so many things it doesn't have.

Neutrogena Lip Moisturizer doesn't have fragrance -- not a trace!  It doesn't have any color additives.  And, although SPF 15, Neutrogena Lip Moisturizer does NOT contain PABA.  It's sun-protective, active ingredients are Octinoxate 7.5% and Oxybenzone 4%.

Despite all these great "negatives", I find that the real negative for me, disclaimers aside, is a feeling of waxiness.  This certainly prevents me from licking or smacking my lips, but it also makes my lips feel kind of encased.

I often wear Neutrogena Lip Moisturizer when I got out to garden.  Otherwise I still stand by  www.viewpoints.com/Carmex-for-Cold-Sores-Lip-Balm-Tube-0-35-oz-review-714f6      which feels like the lubricant it is and also works well as a gloss.

I just bought another lip product I'll soon review. Like you, I NEVER give up.

Good review ... I too hate that waxy feel on my lips and I'm still searching for the one that will absorbs and softens my lips.

I think the mouth is often neglected when it comes to sun protection.

I'm not a fan of the waxiness either. Glad you noted that it's PABA-free...I'm hugely allergic.
