The first time I ever came across this was back in HS one of my teachers had some and I asked to borrow it. I remember it worked real well but I had forgotten the name of what it was that she had and didn't think to look for it. — Just the other day my family took a vacation to MN to visit my husbands grandmother. Heavy Duty Moisturizing for damaged skin

This is a product I use more in the winter. I do not use it for normal moisturizing. I use it when I am abusing my hands with a lot of cleaning, gardening or some other activity that damages skin. Sometimes my hands and feet can be dry enough to chap and crack. Generous application of the hand creme can really help. Skin feels better instantly and it begins to heal. It makes enough instant difference that I sometimes have difficulty remembering to use it until I am completely healed. The creme absorbs pretty quickly, but it is heavy. I live in Pittsburgh and don't like to wear gloves in the winter so my hands really suffer. They get chapped and rough and the worst thing is that my skin cracks around the fingertip. That is so painful! — I have found the best treatment for those cracks is Neutrogena hand cream. It comes in a fragrance-free, which I like better than the scented one. You get 2 ounces in a tube for about $3.50, but it lasts a long time. You only need a small amount to rub into your skin. Wow this stuff is great!! I wash my hands all the time, because I have a new baby. So naturally my hands suffer and get dry and cracked from all the washing. This stuff works so good. My hands are soft and they don't hurt like they did even using different lotions.
