Neutrogena Hand Cream —

This is a product I use more in the winter. I do not use it for normal moisturizing. I use it when I am abusing my hands with a lot of cleaning, gardening or some other activity that damages skin. Sometimes my hands and feet can be dry enough to chap and crack. Generous application of the hand creme can really help. Skin feels better instantly and it begins to heal. It makes enough instant difference that I sometimes have difficulty remembering to use it until I am completely healed. The creme absorbs pretty quickly, but it is heavy. A thick coat can reconstitute if your hands get wet immediately (before it absorbs into the skin). That is an unpleasant feeling, but it isn't really too hard to stay away from water for a few minutes and others may not experience this problem. I tend to forget and wait until my skin is in pretty bad shape, then I use larger amount than is suggested.

This is a great product for seriously dry skin and it helps to make up for some of the things I do to damage my skin.
