Neutrogena Deep Clean relaxing nightly cleanser review

Besides for it's color, I bought Neutrogena's Deep Clean Relaxing Nightly Cleanser for it's claim to be a relaxing nightly face wash.  I'm a big fan of the awakening Neutrogena products, as well as the lavender scented make-up removal cloths so I thought this cleanser would be an obvious win.  They are really easy to use.  Pump the product into your hands, form a lather, and apply to your face.

I can't say that I am disappointed in the product, but I also can not say that I was blown away with it's performance.  The lavendar smell it is infused with smells more chemically than it does lavendar.  The wipes they make smell awesome so I was somewhat miffed at this. 

Another reason I was somewhat disappointed was because I don't think the product was as moisturizing as the other Neutrogena products I've used.  My face gets to be pretty dry in the winter so I am in the habit of using a moisturizing lotion in the morning & before bed at night after I wash my face.  Once my face dried, I could feel my skin tightening up. 

I can't say I don't like this product, however.  Though the scent wasn't really what I expected, I wasn't completely disappointed with it.  I can say that this cleanser also did a good job at removing the daily gunk and grime that I feel like accumulates throughout the day.  My three stars are simply because this product is like all the other cleansers out there & I suppose I expected more out of a Neutrogena product.  I wouldn't NOT recommend it, but just don't go into it with high hopes.
