I've never been all that great about washing my face each evening before going to bed... until lately. My face has had an unusual bout of irritation, breakouts, and patches of dry skin over the past six months. I have been very upset about the whole thing, and purchased Neurogena Deep Clean Foaming Scrub only because I thought was an anti-blemish cleanser.
WRONG. As the name implies, Neutrogena Deep Clean Scrub is a deep-cleanser. It contains microbeads to remove dead and dull skin cells and cooling ingredients to invigorate and energize skin. (and possibly your mood) It doesn't contain salicylic acid or any of the other common anti-acne or anti-blemish ingredients. You only need about a nickel-sized amount of product to completely and thoroughly wash your face.
Neutrogena's Deep Clean Foaming Scrub does a nice job of cleansing and smoothing my face. Though it doesn't contain anti-blemish components, I think the deep cleansing and consistent exfoliation is really helping to calm and clear my skin. I picked up a 4.2 ounce tube for just $2.50 at the local Target, so I consider this facial cleanser to be quite a bargain. Recommended!
