Neutrogena Clinical Skincare Night contains 2 items: a .5 fluid ounce squeezeable tube of gel serum and a .5 fluid ounce hard plastic tube of activating cream. These are small, but you are only supposed to use a very small amount. The gel serum is a gray gel that you apply first, then over the same areas you apply the activating cream (right over the serum). The 2 tubes came with a cute little plastic stand for them both to sit in. The cream has a slight fragrance, but it is very light and doesn't last long. I've found that after I use this at night, I awake with softer, smoother skin. I don't believe this has gotten rid of any of my current wrinkles, but I don't think anything short of a scalpel will. I do however hope that this is helping to delay any new wrinkles from appearing, by moisturizing and giving my skin some of the nutrients it needs and which become scarcer as we grow older.

I "purchased" the Neutrogena Clinical Facial Lifting Wrinkle Treatment Night when they were offering a full rebate on the purchase price.  I have only been using this product for about two weeks so my opinion is not fully formed, but so far so good!  Every night I wash my face, then use a small amount of the gel serum (dark grey bottle) and concentrate it around my mouth and eyes where fine lines are forming.  Then I immediately use the activating cream (light grey bottle) and smooth it over my entire face.  My skin instantly feels softer and looks great.  I love using night creams to moisturize my face.  This product definitely moisturizes but I'm not sure it's actually helping with any fine lines or wrinkles yet.  The bottles are a good size for a night cream and were a great value (since I got them for free!) I'm going to continue using them and if I see significant results, I would be willing to pay the price for them.

It isn't difficult to use, but it is kind of odd that you have to put one on then immediately after put the other on to ACTIVATE the 'ion' activity or whatever silly stuff. It does not smell and it does not actually irritate. I do have to say that I got the weird sensation that I was putting on a prescription. I have NEVER felt this with any other beauty product before besides actual prescription topical things but this really felt like it - it was the really odd texture and tiny bottles and 'super-technology' (:P) probably (which I didn't care for - felt really chemically). IT moisturizes sure, but same as anything else, although it is a bit light. It will last more than a month, so that is nice - it is very slippery when you put it on. In the end, maybe a 10% DIFFERENCE, that's it. SLIGHT improvement over a regular moisturizer, it is lighter than a cream that weigh down delicate tissue which may be good and may be good on a cellular level but whatever. I use this on my chest because I don't want to use this on my face so I the change isn't as noticeable (the skin isn't as pliable and changeable, ya know). *Haven't noticed any difference after weeks of use. Oh well. I have more than a month of product so that is good.
