Neutrogena Clear Pore Cleanser/Mask Review

A few months ago I was having some problems with breakouts that was more to whiteheads than real pimples. Anyway, it was making me feel very unconfortable because it was something that could not be covered with make-up. In fact I was even avoiding to use make-up afraid that it would make the whiteheads worse.

That's when I decided to buy a little arsenal to fight those annoying litte bumps that were living and reproducing on my cheeks. I bought a bottle of Deep Clean, a Biore Pore Unclogging Scrub and this Neutrogena Clear Pore Cleanser/Mask.

I have to agree with one of the critical reviews that the product as a cleanser is not the great thing out there but even when I don't use it as a mask I try to leave it in my skin long enough to feel the cooling and it is very refreshing. As a mask I apply it to the dry skin, and leave it there for no longer than 5 minutes and rinse in the shower. I didn't experience any over-dryness, only that little regular dryness that happens everytime I wash my face with any kind of stuff but that is easily recovered with a good facial mosturizer.

In the areas where I know my pores are bigger, for example, I could really feel the mask working. After you rinse it, the skin is soft and refreshed. And oh my, it smells great !! I love it!

I use it 2 or 3 times a week, the rest of the days I just use the other two products I mentioned before. The Biore pore unclogging helps by softly scrubbing the skin and it also refreshes. 

What I can say is that it worked! Of course I can't assure how this product would work if it was to be used alone with anything else. But anyway, my skin is soooo much better now and I am sure that despite the fact that I used more than two products, this mask played a crucial role since it was the product that would stay longer on my skin. Now I have to deal with some marks that this dark period left on my face but that's another product review!  =)
