Neutrogena Advanced Solutions Acne Therapy System Review

This is a three step system. Skin polishing acne cleanser, sun shield day lotion and overnight acne control lotion. The cleanser has salicylic acid. The day lotion has SPF protection and the overnight acne lotion has benzoyl peroxide. Both the acne fighting agents in this are supposed to be good and working together it should be great. It didn't work so great for me though. I was using Proactiv, but wanted to use something a little less harsh. I ended up going back to Proactiv after a couple of months of using this Neutrogena system. I wish more acne systems, other than just Proactiv, would have a scrub. I know they say it isn't good to use a scrub on your face twice daily, but at least a few times a week would help without being too harsh I think. The acne control lotion in this system was pretty drying. I had to put a moisturizing lotion (one that I've been using for YEARS and know that doesn't make me break out) on right after because it would make my face feel so extremely tight within seconds of putting it on.
