Most HelpfulTwo years ago, we bought the Neuton CE 5.2 Battery -Powered Lawn .Mower. We were a little concerned as it seemed the advertising was just too good to be true. We decided to try the Neuton CE 5.2 Battery-Powered Lawn Mower for a season and then we would make a decision as to whether we should...

Most HelpfulGreat concept, but not ready yet. I like the machine when it operates well, but it needs as much attention as my former gas mower. For example, the blade is constantly loosening, even with their special tool and I need to tighten it a few times a mow.'
I would be okay with a bit of extra attention to...
review »I used to have very frustrating times trying to start the lawn mower. It wasn't the mowing that I minded, but rather the startup. I bought this cordless lawn mower and it works like a charm. Now I can just pull it out of the garage and just turn it on without any problem whatsoever. You just have to make sure that you keep your battery charged. It cuts very well and will cut a small lawn twice on one single charge.
Love it. We have a small lawn in a suburban neighborhood. This mower is light and the battery power is sufficient to mow our whole lawn on one charge. It has not yet 'bogged down' even after a week's worth of heavy springtime growth. It is also quiet.
The cutting width is narrow, but you get used to it. Perfect for small lawns.
After my family got sick of pulling their muscles trying to start the lawn mower, and with our daughter reaching the perfect age to push a grass devouring machine, we decided to try something new. We took a gamble on this Neuton Battery Powered lawn mower. Not knowing how long the battery would last, how wide a path this would cut, and how moveable this thing was, we bought it. It's the one tool we don't have to worry about. The battery is compact and has a handle that makes it easy to transport. The mower itself is light, and with two hand twists, the handle folds down on top of the mower, easy...
review »I don't recall when or how I discovered the Neuton battery-powered lawn mower, but I am on my second unit now. Previously, my husband had picked out mowers that required a yank on a cord to start them running. Unfortunately, I was totally unable to start these machines myself no matter how hard or how many times I tried to pull the cord. If he was not at home, there was no hope for me to start the mower and, of course, this meant the lawn would not be mowed at all. I was so pleased and relieved when I received my first Neuton that I could just push a button and the mower started up right...
review »I always hated buying gas to run a noisey, smelly motor mower, so my prefered mower was on old style motorless, reel mower, these are great for even ground but there were many areas where it just didn't "cut it".
I had thought about an electric mower, but was always concerned that I might run over the electric cord, so had put them right out of my mind.
So I started searching for a cordless alternative that didn't smell bad or give me a headache from the noise and I found the Neuton and bought it. The only downside to the mower is that we have a large lawn so it takes two batteries to be able...
review »This is great for those such as me that have allergies to grass and pollen. With the bag it keeps it from spiting grass and pollen in your face. I know when I had to do lawn mowing when I was a teenager I would have difficulty in breathing. This would help me to mow the lawn more. Hope this helps others with allergies like me.
