I have been taking Neurontin for about 8 years now for bipolar disorder. I am one of those folks out there who is intolerant to almost all psychiatric medications. I have taken the SSRI's, tricyclics, old and new antipsychotics, tranquilizers, and of course mood stablizers. I had to stop every single one due to intolerable (and sometimes downright BIZARRE side effects). Other mood stabilizers tend to cause a sort of "flat line" effect. I tried this drug 6 wks post op from surgery for nerve pain But it didn't really help even whenI increased to 900mg.Nothing at all really helps the pain.I've been just suffering since march from a routine surgery and have had thre moore to try to correct it with no help.I would reccommend one to try if needed for this pain.Who knows it may work for… read full review »
