Neurontin
(Gabapentin)

When I was first diagnosed with Fibromyalgia, my Rheumatologist prescribed Neurontinto take once a day.  Many people with Fibromyalgia have had great results with Neurontin.

Not me.

Neurontinmade me feel very tired, confused and gave me a massive headache!    I called my Rheumatologist immediately who asked me to hang with it...that it helps so many.  So I kept it up for two more weeks.  I was a mess.  He took me off and immediately, I felt better.

Neurontinwas originally for people who suffer from Epilepsy.  Neurontin is another drug that helps the Central Nervous System "relax" for lack of a better word.

Everyone, that has confided in me, who has tried Neurontin has had horrible side effects and have not continued on with the medication.

Wonder where my Rheumatologist got his info from??

Neurontin is not a habit forming or addictive prescription drug.
