Waste of Money!

disks don't always arrive on time, new releases can be tough to get, renting series of discs sometimes tricky, VERY slow to receive discs, DVDs are sometimes scratched

I have to say that I had high hopes for Netflix. The commercials make you feel like you will get movies very quickly; however that is not the case. We would wait sometimes a week between movies. When asked why they took so long, they simply said that it was based on where the movie was shipped out from. It got to the point that we would sometimes only get 6 movies a month, which was ridiculous! Even then, it wouldn't necessarily be the ones at the top of our queue. They would randomly ship them from anywhere in our queue and their reasoning was so that we could get them faster.

Another huge issue for me was how many new releases has VERY long waits. Isn't this service's whole point about you getting new movies in your mailbox, so that it was more convenient than going out to the video store? It certainly was NOT!

We've since joined the Blockbuster service and I get movies 1 business day after returning the old one. The benefit of returning them to the store also expedites the release of the new ones in the queue versus having to wait until they receive the old one in the mail first.

Overall, it was a waste of time and money and caused a tremendous amount of frustration!!
