Netflix Review

I am disabled and housebound and it is very hard for me to go to a movie theater or places like Blockbuster.  Up until I discovered Netflix I usually only watched whatever movies were being shown on network tv.  Not a good selection...and by the time they cut all the "good stuff" out...well, let's just say I was usually left shaking my head in confusion.

I had heard a lot about Netflix and always wondered how it worked.  I thought...sounds like a good idea.  But I honestly didn't think it would be feasible.  I thought it would take a week to get the movies and then another week sending it back.  It just didn't seem worth it to me.   Well, I saw about the 2 wk. free trial so I decided to give it a shot.  I ordered my movies and then thought I'd have a long wait.  Imagine my surprise when I received the movies I ordered in 2 days.  that's right...2 days!  And these were movies that had just been released.  Usually if I tried to get a movies that had just been released at Blockbuster or Hollywood Video they were always out of them.  And even more surprising..when I returned the movies it only took 1 day to get back to Netflix.  I was well on the way to being a satisfied customer.

After my 2 wk. trial I signed up for the 3 movies at a time plan for only $18.99.  That means I can watch as many movies 3 at a time as I can order, recieve, watch and send back.  I usually order 3 a week...so it adds up to about 12 movies a month.  All for only $18.99.  Talk about bang for your buck!

I have been a member of Netflix since August and I have had only wonderful experiences.  The 1 time I received a movie that didn't work I e-mailed them and they sent me out a replacement immediately.  I tell everyone I see about Netflix and heartily recommend it for anyone who loves movies. 

I'd love to chat more...but I just got 3 new movies today.  Shrek 3, Ocean's 13 and Spiderman 3.  I've got my popcorn and my pepsi...it's time to start watching movies.
