I love the Netflix service. It saves me the time and hassle of having to go to the video store, and while having to wait for the mail. I can also track what my friends are watching and what they think of movies, and the queue is great for keeping track of all the movies and TV series I want to see in one central place. I don't think I've stepped foot into a Blockbuster or rental store in years - I just can't forgive them for all the late fees they took from me back in the day. The movies come fast too - usually with in 48 hours of my dropping a return in the mail.

The only downside is that having to wait for the mail make it impossible to watch a movie at the spur of the moment. With a little planning, though, Netflix is an invaluable service!

The spur of the moment rental problem with netflix is not a problem for blockbuster online users. You can turn in your online dvd into a blockbuster store if you have an impulsive urge to watch a particular movie. And the late fees are a thing of the past with the 1 week grace period and the measly 1.25 restocking fee past a week overdue.

I've been a netflix subscriber for years now. A short time ago I was subscribing to both netflix and blockbuster. I recently canned the blockbuster just because I couldn't bare to ditch the queue I've been building in netflix. My only complaint: Very long wait on most new releases.

And with on demand dowloading of movies, it's bound to continue its tradition being the premier provider of the home cinematic experience. Good review JM.
