Netflix —

Until Blockbuster allowed the in-store swap, Netflix was the best online movie deal.  However, I just hate Blockbuster!  That puts Netflix alone at the top of my dvd rental store.  I love the flexibility of not having to return the movies immediately.  And, if I don't send it out right away to take advantage of the low monthly rental, then I can simply watch the movie again and return it soon enough!  I really enjoy the $0 risk of being late...since it's never really late.

The selection far surpasses Blockbuster, and the reviewing system on line is superior to its nearest competitor!  Netfilx is the better deal for selection and late policy!

Addendum to the review: I have since moved and ended my patronage of Netflix. Financial times make it impossible for me to waste money on rental movies; no amount of good service or availability can replace providing food for the family.

In response to Allen99910's comment from Feb 10, 2009 at 8:33AM:

Follow through with it! It's situations like these that require the consumer to get on the ball and take back what big companies are too willing to take for granted. Since writing this review, I have curtailed my patronage and taken my interests elsewhere.

I and thousands of other dissatisfied Netflix customers have filed complaints with Netflix about receiving a $1.00 charge to my credit card without notice or warning on a giftcard subscription. I do not want nor did i ever agree to allow Netflix to obtain my credit card accessed during giftcard subscription fulfillment. In keeping wit my previous statement, Netflix did so fraudulently and should receive class action legal action for doing so, due to the size of its customer base, especially giftcard customers. Fraudulenty accessing $1.00 multiplied times thousands of customers gives Netflix illegal and unauthorized access to members' cash for a certain number of for which it claims to be "checking" on the viability of customer credit/debit cards and until it credits the $1.00 amount back to its customers. I will issuing a press release that includes the above from this feedback submission that will be released to the business media from my publishing company on 2/16/09 and will include testimonials of other dissatisfied clients of Netflix.

We had Blockbuster 3 at a time, get 3 in the mail, watch the that night, take to store for new releases next day. Our account shows RETURNED TO STORE. At $17 a month we got immediate mailing of 3 more that day, when we returned to store, But in 2008 at $35 a month we got 3 a week! They claim we have NOT RETURNED when our account shows RETURNED TO STORE days ago.

Thanks for that. I've been hearing a lot of great things about Netflix, and they far outweigh the bad. I'll definitely be signing up soon!
