First, my son changed the password and promptly forgot it. In order to find out what your password is, you have to call Technical Support, which costs you $1.95/minute. That really annoyed me.
Second, canceling the service after we switched to high speed was quite an ordeal. You have to do it over the phone and the wait was endless. At least they didn't charge for the call.
I have experience with AOL, NetZero, and PeoplePC as dial-up providers. I think PeoplePC is superior to the other two.

I signed up with NetZero on 9/12/08 because I was not happy with my current provider in my rush to find another provider so I did not lose my web sites i did not cancel with the one I had. I found out that the one I had was going to charge me an early termination fee which they forget to mention at the time of signing. Since I could not and did not want to pay this fee I called NetZero back the same day to explain that I wish to void and cancel what I had signed up for, I was politely toldthat it would be no problem...
