NetGear Wireless router Review

There are several features of Netgear Wireless routers that make them easy to setup and maintain. When you first setup the router, it will even take you through a setup wizard that attempts to automatically configure your DSL or cable modem connection to use with the router.

You can setup security with the wireless router or leave your network unsecured. You can set it up to use a remote connection or not. The router features several optional components so you can set it up exactly as you like it.

I have used several Netgear wireless routers, occasionally some with different model numbers, but the product is consistant across the board and generally easy to operate.

The one negative about Netgear is that their telephone support is obviously handled in another country where English is not the primary speaking language. I once had an issue with a router and while I could tell the tech was attempting to help me, the call lasted well over two hours and ended without resoution. Part of the extreme length of the call was our language barrier which made the operator difficult to understand.
