I purchased a Netgear WRT54GS Wireless Router I guess about a year ago now to go with my Embarq DSL modem so I could get wireless internet to my new HP laptop. It took a litte time to get it working and setup with a WEP key to secure it but the Netgear technical support was pretty helpful walking me through the steps needed to get me browsing wirelessly on my new laptop. I really wasn't happy about this piece of crap when i first purchased it. It may be small and sleak but as a whole its crap. the fact that it doesnt even reach farther then the room its in is a total knock down of stars if you know what the hell im even talking about. anyway the second problem i was having with it was the fact that it disconnected ever so often well more often the other wireless routers ive had before you know? ive messed with alot in my day but this one takes the cake for being the biggest total waste of money any one person or family of people can buy.
