NetGear WGR614v5 Wireless-G Router Review

I recently purchased this router for my new laptop. It works great. I haven't had any problems and the set up was a breeze. I am a stay at home Mom that is going back to school and I have about 12 years of computer experience. That is that I have been using computers for that long, certainly not working on them. I got this item at Best Buy for $45.

The one think that I would like to point out that you may not hear from your local Best Buy employee, (however mine was nice enough to remind me of this), is that you MUST set up an encrypted password or anyone in your area has the potential to log on to your network. This was a little challenging but I eventually figured it out by going right to the netgear website.

One last note is that I was going to go with a router with the "N" on the box (it was more expensive and had some extra features) and was told that the routers with the "N" on them where for multiple users and generally for the high end laptops (meaning laptops that cost about $1300 or more). He directed me to the "G" router which would work fine for my Dell Inspirion 1525.
