this has got to be one of the best if not the best router on the market. i havenever had any problems with it, i leave it turned on at all times and have never been booted of web because of technical problems. i has a nice sleak look to it, it also does not have any exterior antennas. the antenna is internal and has great range. the speed on this product is just amazing, i click on a webpage and boom it is there. i recommend this router to anyone who is looking for great customer service, and great reliabiltiy in having wirless internet

the netgear 2g wireless router is well worth the price you pay for it. you have a very good connection with this router.there is times where you loose youor connection but it is easy to get back on. you can have up to 4 wired computers to it and endless numbers of computers wireless. you can also set it so that no one else can access your wireless network without the password. All information is sent over a secured signal. setup can be a bit of a pain though but if you are very computer competent you will have little to no problem getting it setup to run a wireless connection. once the setup is...

I was looking for a router that would work with Xbox 360 Live and found this one. I wanted one that I didn't have to make any changes on it to open ports for the Xbox to work correctly and this one worked great. The installation was very easy. I do know about computers but the install disc just walks you right through it all that you don't have to know anything about computers to get it working. Now for the ones that are having trouble with there Xbox Live in connectng or being able to host games and you have DSL through Embarq, you might want to check the modem because it might also be a router....

I have to say when I first checked out this router before I bought it I was amused that the only 'con' that kept coming up were the flashing blue LEDs.  Basically, the thing is all white with a clear dome on top in the center, and if you push a button in the back, the LEDs light up and flash and make it look like some kind of UFO.  Honestly, I think the lights are cool, my boyfriend hates them, but IT DOESN'T MATTER - YOU CAN TURN THEM OFF!!  I guess the complainers haven't found that big button in the back yet.

Anyway, serious review - excellent, worth buying.  Netgear's N-router is quite...

When I purchased this router I was on a time and budget restraint, therefore I was not particularly concerned with the speed, range or overall quality.  I figured it would be a quick fix until I could take the time to set up a faster network at home.  In the meantime, this woud keep the kids happy.

After having Linksys products and Cisco Systems drilled into my head by previous employers, I assumed that they were the highest quality brand.  I also assumed that, due to previous stories from friends who had installed Linksys, that the setup would be time consuming and confusing.  Finally, knowing...

This is a cool addition to my 1000/100/10 network adapter. It is fast to connect wireless devices. It has a nice set of security. I like netger's reputation as a good company. This has dual band connection too. I would recommend this to anyone. I like the fast connect button that you don't need the password just push a button on the router to automatically connect devices wirelessly to the network. And you just log-in to the internet to change the settings of the router. Also upgrading is easy, just go online and it automatically detects and offers you an option to upgrade the driver. I like the...

we have  had our  net gear  wgr614v9  for 3 months  now  seems to do the job well.

Have had to re boot it a few times tho when the power goes out.

sometimes  it seems hard to get going sometimes but other wise does a good job.

it is the first router we have had

works well with just 2 computerrs but gets bogged done with 3 or if an incoming call on the phone comes in.

all the flashing lights late nite is a bother at times we have to keep it  connected so we dont have to reboot every day' would love to be able to turn if off at nite to save energy but the reboot up time and hassle has us...
