Net10 —
After almost endless scouring through different prepaid cell phone providers, I finally decided to go with NET10. I purchased a kit that came with the phone (LG - LG300), Wall charger, Car charger, carrying case w/ belt clip, AND 300 FREE MINUTES & 60 days of service....all for about $30 at Wal-mart. Once I run out of minutes I can purchase another 300 minutes for only $30. That's 10 CENTS per minute. I've had no dropped calls, no dead zones, and GREAT clarity. The phone is a bit small, so that took some getting used to. BUT for teenagers or women with smaller hands, this might be the perfect size.You can buy minutes thru your phone, over the internet, by calling the 800 number, or purchasing a card in store and entering the information via your cell phone. 300 minute purchases last 60 days. Thats 150 minutes per month (and of course you can buy 600 and 1000 minute cards that last even longer). ALSO if you purchase more minutes before your 60 days is up, ALL unused minutes rollover. So buy more on day 59.
Only thing I havent liked is you are limited to the ringtones on the phone you buy. You cannot currently purchase ringtones on NET10's website in the Michiana (indiana-michigan) area.

NET10 takes all the confusion out of it. No gimmicks. No hassles. No fine print that you forgot to read. It's all straight forward. 10 cents per minute. Thats what you pay and thats what you use. NET10. Get it.
