Most HelpfulI just recently got a LG 400 with Net 10 and we had looked at many different cell plans and all of the different pros and cons of each. It was just overwhelling with you can buy this plan, and all these options, but pay alot for it and it just seemed like alot for something that could be done cheaper. I bought my phone at Target and then activated it later that day. And it has been working flawlessly since. My mother and i had no clue how many min. or texts i would use in a month, so we did not want to go over the min, but we also did not want to waste alot of money. The fact that i can send...
read full review »I purchased a Net 10 phone well over a year ago.It cost $30 and came with 300 minutes, good for 60 days,but carry over as long as you renew before they expire. It has great coverage and works just about everywhere I travel including out of state. I have tried other phones, this is the best prepaid deal for the money.
I have been a Net 10 client for over a year. I purchased the phone for my 9th grader to use.
Recently, I purchased a new LG flip phone that came with 300 minutes. I called tech support (India) to have my existing phone number transfered to my new phone and the remaining minutes transfered too. That in itself was a cluster.... took three days and was totally without phone service for two days.
So, I notice that the new phone sounds like I talking in a barrel of water.... so I call tech support again. I got the run around for two days before I was told by a manager in India that "no replacement will...
read full review »Service has been fairly reliable thus far, I've only only lost service a few times in the aftermath of heavy storms (I'm located in Central Michigan). None of my calls have been dropped so far.
Like all prepaid phone companies, they seem to charge a lot, one good conversation will eat all of my minutes, so the phone is best used for short-information-based calls. In addition if my phone has less than 5 minutes in the pool, I cannot make outgoing phone calls until I top up. These are minutes already paid for and it's annoying. Meh, I say you.
