My husband and I love to drink coffee. We have bought every contraption under the sun to brew our own coffee and espresso drinks. The Pixie is still our favorite espresso maker we have used. It's fool proof and it makes a perfect drink each and every time. We have had it for several years and I imagine it will last us even longer. It takes up so little space on our counter and the water reservoir is good enough for at least 7 lungos.

We purchased our first Nespresso coffee maker when we lived in Spain. Upon returning to the USA, we purchased another - this time the Pixie. We LOVE it!! My husband and I use this coffee maker at least once a day, sometimes more. It is just so so easy to use and super fast! Plus, the coffee itself is the best-tasting there is! We would highly recommend this machine and its coffee to anyone! The only downside is that its coffee has to be ordered online or at one of very few stores across the country. I would suggest finding a store in your area (or just be willing to order online) - we have done both and have had no issues.

I absolutely love this little machine. Yes, it is expensive but it's absolutely perfect. First off, the size is great. I actually have this at work. I bought it myself so I could make great coffee while at work any time of the day I wanted. It sits on a small table behind my desk for the whole office to use and takes up no room at all. The since also makes it super easy to transport and when I have more than 3 days in a row off from work, I bring it home to clean and use. The machine is super easy to clean. My water is high in minerals and when heated it sometimes leaves a white residue behind. This residue can block the water tubes. This has never happened to me! I do the mineral cleansing solely as a preventative measure. If your water is not high in minerals you do not need to worry about it. This machine is super reliable. I also have found a couple of off brand capsules that fit into the machine as well. The quality compares nothing to Nespresso but I like having that cheaper coffee option. Overall, I love this thing and would buy it all over again if I had to.

I L.O.V.E my Nespresso Pixie machine! I bought it about two years ago, after leaving Germany, and moving back to the US and therefore needing a 110 V machine. I bought this machine shortly after it first came out and took the plunge even though I did not know how it would perform. Well, it has not disappointed! The only reason I do not give it a 10/10 is because it is a bit louder than the newer machine. But it still makes the best espresso one can make at home with the push of a button. Brew Performance Hands down, it makes the best espressos of any automatic espresso machines out there. I only use Nespresso capsules, and I have tried imitations, but the original capsules are 100% better. Don't bother trying to make your own capsules with your own coffee, it simply will not taste as good. Ease of Cleaning It is super easy to clean the capsule receptacle, I usually just rinse it about once a week, and put it in the top rack of the dishwasher once a month. Ease of Use It could not possibly be any easier to use this machine. Turn it on. Put your capsule in the slot. Pick your cup size. Push the button. Done. Design The design is fantastic, I especially how small and compact it is. I have actually taken my machine on road trip so that I can use it in hotels or at friends' houses. Call me crazy, but I gotta have my espresso first thing in the morning, and nothing else will do. Durability So far so good. I have had it for over two years and have never actually cleaned the system, yet it is still brewing as well as ever.

My husband and I received this as a Christmas gift, and sadly couldn't take it with us when we moved back to the States from France. (Different plug, too heavy). It is very small and cute on the countertop; very stylish. We had the grey color, my mother would have gotten us the red but it was sold out. I would have liked a brighter color, so maybe for our next one. The machine itself is very easy to use, and easy to clean. The pods make hot, fresh and delicious Strong coffee. I found the process similar to, but easier than the Keurig. The pods themselves are actually not all that expensive (less expensive than K-Cups, at least in Europe), and the delivery is fast and easy. The only con is that they don't sell them in the grocery store, so if you run out you have to either do without or get some of the 'faux' pods they sell at the store which we don't like to do. We were very happy with the machine, my husband especially. We also had the Aeroccino so that I could froth some milk on weekends for a nice cappuccino. I'm usually to rushed during the week! Rice milk also has a nice froth, and gives it a light, sweet taste. The site, once you create your 'Nespresso Club' account, is easy to use and beautiful, and customer service has always been great. All around it's a high quality device that we are sure to purchase again. (On a side note, for a machine that is made for home use, we had one at work that made at least 30 or so coffees a day and it went two years without an issue. That's a well-built machine!) I love espresso, and years ago when I was in Singapore, I saw this in a shopping mall and bought it after tasting samples of the espresso it produced. I've been nothing but happy with the machine, and it always makes delicious espresso fast. It's easy to clean, easy to work, and makes great coffee. What's not to love? The only downside to this machine is that there are not that many flavors of espresso to choose from, but there are always new limited edition flavors that are always nothing less than fantastic and also holiday flavors. The Thanksgiving and Christmas flavors are the best! The Pixie is a compact good looking machine so I had no problem placing it in our (my wife's) kitchen. It has a detachable water reservoir and uses Nespresso pods available in a multitude of intensities in both espresso and lungo volumes. The machine is ready to brew within 20 seconds of switch on. You select either espresso or lungo with two other switches. The pods are easy to insert and are ejected automatically when preparing another shot. Coupled with a milk frother (purchase separately), the Pixie gives one the ability to make a wide range of coffee based drinks at considerable savings from say Starbucks prices and of course, one gets to enjoy them in ones home. A bonus is being able to contact Nespresso representatives via their toll free number or on their web site. Their customer service is excellent and most helpful in getting the most out of the machine and selecting coffee pods to suit individual tastes. To date the machine is trouble free and the included instructions are adequate and easy to understand. Durability At least so far
