Nespresso Essenza is the second espresso machine I own and I LOVE IT. I am a 3 latte a day Starbucks addict. I hate having to measure and grind and tamp - as is necessary with other espresso machines. The inconsistency used to drive me nuts. With nespresso, the prepackaged pods make the same cup of coffee every time... my own at home espresso cafe. There are a range of choices of coffee from espresso to lungo to decaf and you can experiment with the pods until you find your perfect range.
However, it is an expensive machine and the coffee pods are definitely more spendy than buying espresso beans from a bulk food store. (Definitely cheaper than a Starbucks coffee). You are limited to buying espresso pods from Nespresso - so that is a little frustrating, especially as there is a s $7 shipping fee for every order. And you have to be a planner - if you are not careful, you could run out of coffee and then wait for 2 days for the pods to arrive. It has happened and it is not fun.
