The Nesco 6-quart Roaster/oven is a must have in any size home to make super dishes.

This puppy does it all: roasts, bakes, cooks, steams, slow cooks and serves.

Features and Benefits
• Patented Nescote® Non-Stick interior is easy to clean. (it's a snap to clean)

• Convenient, portable size is great for entertaining. (my husband is always taking my baby somewhere with his goodies)

• Includes chrome rack for better baking and fat-free roasting. (works and cleans like a dream)

• Large enough to hold a chicken, pot roast, or turkey breast.  (the large dome is great and browns nice)

First it roasts and let me tell you,  My Nesco can roast a chicken like Mom used to. Moist, tender and crispy skin and the flavor is unreal not to mention the smell. The same goes for the roast pork and beef...I have yet to mess up a roast in myNesco ... I think my husband is still in shock with my roasts being so good (OK, so am I).

It bakes...want to make a cake, lasagna, mac and cheese (the old fashion way)? Yes, it turns out great and really works nice in the summer time so you don't have to heat up the oven and and make the place even more HOT and still have a nice meal.

Cooks: cheesy potatoes, chex mix, beef stew, Polish chop suey (so good) and much more. What you can cook in/on your stove you can make in this  Nesco oven roaster.

Steams veggies, corn on the cob, clams etc.

My husband's favorite is the slow cooker part. I at times feel I need a leash on my Nesco Oven Roaster with him.  He has a super easy dish he makes for work and they demand him to make it for every pot luck and I shall share this one with you...Bring on the Holiday's and you will be a hit.

This one is so easy and prep time isn't much at all...are ya ready???  OK buy or make  meat balls (beef) about a pound, put them in you Nesco Oven Roaster , cook them up to either thaw or cook through.  When that is done you will need three cans of mushroom gravy and one can of French onion soup and let slow cook for a hour or two so all flavors get to know one another.  (We pre make this part the night before and put in the fridge over night).  Now you will also need a quart of white button mushrooms (don't soak in water to clean...take a damp cloth and wipe clean (if you clean mushrooms in water they are soaking up the water and the won't soak up your good soap flavors later).  In the AM take out the your Nesco inner liner, put into the heater section and add your mushrooms.  Take where you are headed or if at home put it on low and let it all heat up and watch everyone peek to see where the best smell is coming from.

I also make this with just mushrooms and the same soups count...everyone goes nuts over this. I have to remind my husband if he doesn't bring home my Nesco Oven Roaster he will be hurt.

This is my most favorite cooking toy I have in my kitchen. Oh, you can also buy inserts for this Nesco...Three compartments to keep different foods warm.  My sister in law uses her inserts in the summer time to keep brats, hot dogs and hamburgers warm in three different sections.

Your welcome. I think I might try your husbands meatball recipe for New Years Eve this year, I usually make meatballs with marinara sauce, but I think I am due to try something different.

Thank you on your comment on the Nesco...I just made a chicken last night in there and my husband kept asking if it was done yet...ugggg...when it was, it fell off the bone...moist and yummy! Hubby is taking it to work again in the next couple of weeks with his meat ball/mushroom invention...happy it is so easy because I am the one that ends up setting it up :)

I love my roaster, this one is sleaker than mine, but roasters are wonderful things to have, I actually have 2 of them. Great review!

Ron you will love it...while doing my review I talked myself into making a roasted chicken for today. I went out and got my chicken and will put it on in a few hours. Just follow the directions when you get it and then cook, roast, bake and steam away!
