Neosporin with Pain Relief Ointment

What is it?
Neosporin with Pain Relief Ointment
is an over-the-counter antibiotic ointment that you put on a scrape, bug  bites and even burns.  It is safe for ages 2 and up and advertises that it kills more bacteria than  any other antibiotic ointments.  The...

I used Neosporin for years because I was brainwashed into thinking that I "should" use an antibiotic cream. Further research has proven that this is NOT the way to go. Antibiotic usage is overboard these days and what it does is help create super bacteria that cannot be killed when necessary.

All types...

Quick View: Neosporin Ointment has been a part of my life since my kids were toddlers. When I was young, good old soap and water cleaned off cuts and scrapes and, if I was unlucky, my mother would pull out the alcohol or peroxide. OUCH! Neosporin Ointment is a painless way to make sure scrapes and cuts don't get infected and it aids in healing. No home should be without it!

About Neosporin Ointment

This ointment helps to prevent infection due to minor cuts, scrapes, and burns with a trio of medicines in a base of cocoa butter, olive oil, and petroleum. It doesn't have much of a scent and goes on...

When I grew up it was that nasty red stuff that hurt like the devil or peroxide. I dub those years the "Painful" times in my life. You got hurt and then Mom would add to the hurt, it was like being punished fro getting hurt....lol

Neosporin

I was first introduced to Neosporin when I was 18 years old and decided to get my first tattoo. It wasn't by the tattooist either but by a friend of mine who already had several tattoos. About 2 days after my first tattoo it began to get real red and sore and he saw it and handed me a tube of Neosporin and told me to cover it with it and do it twice a day until...

As a busy mom going here there and everywhere (parks, and pools, playdates Oh My!) with two small children under the age of 5 as well as usually meeting up with other mother's and children there are bound to be accidents, cuts, scrapes, stings, bites, burns and hopefully very little blood shed. People may laugh at what I have to have in my purse, but Neosporin is one of the things that I don't leave home without.

Why don't I leave home without Neosporin?

One day we go to the park where of course there are cuts and scrapes as one of the children fell on the pavement.  A kiss from Mommy didn't...

neosporine is a must have in any household medicine cabinet or first aid kit. I was reacently bitten by my dog on  my forearm.  I was very worried about infection.  I washed it with soap and water, applied neosporine and aloe vera  from  my plant. I kept applying neo with each new fresh dressing daily. The bite healed up with no complications or infection.  Neosporine has helped heal my cracked hand from detergent dryness too.

I have had neosporin around since I was a small child and have used it for all different types of cuts and scrapes.  It is basically just brand name triple antibiotic ointment.  It's a great way to prevent infection without the burn of alcohol.  It also helps prevent bandages from sticking to wounds.

Am I glad we had just bought a tube of Neosporin Maximum Strength + pain Relief.  My little one decided to use the kitchen drawer as steps..... That's not good for your nose!  Luckily for her nose, we had a tube of Neosporin handy.  The scrape on her nose looks better after only 2 days.  There's no sting, so she doesn't give you a hard time when you apply.  I'm guessing it actually alleviates the pain too, she doesn't say much yet.

This is the coolest stuff.  I get patches of psoriasis on my hands & my skin splits open to look like small paper cuts.  I will put this product on a band aid & wrap it around the affected finger & by the next day or 2 the cuts are gone.  It helps to get rid of the psoriasis a bit also.  I have also used it on the grandkid's mosquito bites & it works wonders.

This is a very good product. Not only does it work well but it helps your scars from being as bad. My sores heal twice as fast if I use this. Plus it seems to keep them from hurting as bad

Neosporin is the ointment I would choose to speed up healing. The scrapes and cuts the kids have gotten in the past, heal very fast after this ointment is  applied.

Neosporin is really very good product. It can be used for small cuts & wounds to big one. Its nearly takes a week to cure even a big wound. I have used it when it got a wound in my hand & it terribly hurts but in 7 days as my physician said it got cured. I recommended it to my father and he too liked it so much. He used to buy & have it as first aid. Its so good for cuts & wounds. It can be easily got in all store. Its not too expensive & its worth the money.
