If you suffer from allergies and nasal congestion, our reviewers think that Neil Med Sinus Rinse might be a good remedy for you. Some of our reviewers were skeptical about squirting a saline solution formula into their nostrils, but they say “it really works.” “It really does help relieve the congestion in your sinus area by cleaning them out” explains one allergy sufferer, while another reports that Neil Med is “so soothing on irritated sinuses”. The primary complaint about Neil Med is that “it is kind of messy, because you squirt about a cup of warm liquid in each nostril.”
If you've never heard of a Neti Pot, chances are that chronic nasal congestion and seasonal sneezing probably never bother you. I have suffered from chronic congestion for the majority of my adult life, and I only recently learned what a neti pot is and how it relates to my sore nasal membranes....review »
I bought this on recommendation of my doctor. I was a little apprehensive only thinking how gross it would be, however I was suprised that it wasn't nearly as gross as I expected. In fact, I have severe allergies and I was suprised at the relief I recieved. Its worth a try.
My doctor recommended that I try NeilMed Sinus Rinse to help clear out my sinuses. Just those words, Sinus Rinse, made me nervous. Rinsing out your sinuses???? That sounds.....scary! However, since I suffer constantly with the feeling of pressure and inflammation in and around my sinus area, I thought it was worth a try.
I purchased the entire kit at my local pharmacy. It included the rinse bottle, an instructional guide and several packets of rinse powder. The cost was right around $ 12.00. How it works is, you empty one pack of the powder into the bottle and add warm water to the...

I have had chronic sinus problems pretty much all my life. Aside from the congestion and pain, my sinus problems have resulted in chronic bad breath, which is very embarassing and humiliating. No matter how intense my oral hygeine routinewas,I'd still have bad breath...even minutes after brushing my teeth. I went to several dentists and oral hygeinists, and was always told that my teeth and gums were in excellent shape, and that my breath problem was related to sinus trouble, not dental hygeine. I went to an ENT and had a whole serious of tests, which came up blank for anything truly dangerous....
Okay, years ago I had a lady suggest I use a Neti Pot to rinse out my nasal passages for my stuffiness due to allergies. I brushed her off thinking it couldn't possibly help. After all, it's only a saline wash. Well, this past winter with the indoor dryness led me to trying to find something I could use without popping pills. I went into Amazon.com & found the NeilMed set that came with a squeese bottle & 100 pre mixed packets, ordered it, tried it & won't give it up. I usually use it about an hour after I've been up & I can finally breathe!!! I got a small pack & gave to my...review »

My husband, hannasdad, has been using Neil Med Sinus Rinse for a long time. There are other brands but he will only use this one. He got me to use it several months ago. I’m still getting used to it!

So what is this? Actually rinsing your nose is getting press. In fact Oprah had a segment on it. Nose rinses can be bought in various ways. We currently (though would consider using what is called a neti-pot www.neilmed.com) buy a box of 100 pre-mixed packets for about $14.00. However we first each bought a kit for about $12.00 which comes with an 8-ounce plastic...

In the last 2 years I've discovered that the "new" type of migraine I was suffering was not simply a migraine. I refer to these a "brain freezes" that cause vomiting & sometimes leave me bed-ridden. A couple of months ago I was starting to feel one of these "migraines" gaining steam. The clinical asst @ work (I work in the medical field) suggested getting the NeilMed Rinse @ lunch & try it. I did just that & my sinus gradually got better until it was gone all together. When I saw the allergist for the first time a week later part of my "take-home" care package include ANOTHER NeilMed kit. What...review »
I was having problems getting rid of my cold because i also suffer from year round allergies. My doctor recommended that I use a Sinus Rinse. I found Niel Med Sinus Rinse at my local pharmacy. In the beginning it it was very strange to use it. There is something about putting water up your nose and having it come out your other nostril that was bothersome at first but after doing it for a while you get used to it.
It is a great product. It really does help relieve the congestion in you sinus area by cleaning them out. Since I started to use it I haven't gotten a sinus infection and my colds...
I used this product because I was getting over a cold.My sinusus were extremely irritated & inflamed. Every time I would breathe in the air would burn the insides of my nose making it extremely uncomfortable to breathe. I went to the store and bought this rinse in hopes it woud sooth my irrited nose and to my surprise it did. I used the rinse & although it was a little strange to use it soothed the insides of my nose. I slept better that night and could breathe again without such pain. I would totally reccomend this and I continue to use it for my allergies.

I was constantly having sinus infections and sinus headaches. My ENT recommended I start using Neil Med Sinus Rinse twice a day to rinse out the infection causing gook that was collecting in my sinuses. Since then I have reduced my sinus infections by 90% and my sinus headaches by 60%. I also notice it helps keep the nasal passages moist during those cold winter drying spells. I would recommended this product to anyone with environmental allergies as it actually rinses away the allergens.
I had a sinus infection and I was suffering. It got to the point that I could barely breathe because I was so clogged in my sinuses. I used this sinus cleanse system and it works so well. Anyone who suffers from sinusitus, allergies or even a cold would benefit from this system.
Use it 2x per day with warm-hot water and you will be very pleased!
Honestly! YOU will look forward to the time of day you can use the system!!!!

During allergy season, for me August/September, this sinus rinse is fantastic. It seems I suffered less cold like symptoms, less stuffy head, fewer sinus headaches, and better breathing while using Neti Sinus Rinse.
This product is easy to use. But if you can find a Neti Pot, it would be easier yet to use.
It is kind of messy, because you squirt about a cup of warm liquid in each nostril. But, there is immediate relief once you've finished.
This really works well it will clean out your stuffy nose.
It does take some getting used to it can be very messy to use. You have to spray the liquid into your nose and have it go out your other nostril it sounds gross. But if your nose is stuffy you will be happy with the results. It provides immediate relief. It is a natural product and it usually works well.
The NeilMed Sinus rinse is amazing, I had my doubts at first, it seems kind of icky, but I tried it anyway. Several of my friends had tried it and suggested it, I am so glad I did.
I use it after mowing or working outside and it works wonders. Use to I would have to take a Benadryl before going out and then fight the drowsiness that I always get from taking it and then I would still suffer afterwards.
I have recommended this to my sister, she has terrible allergy/sinus problems. I would highly recommend it to anyone, it is super easy to use and it seems safer to me than taking allergy/sinus...
