What a great little device this is.  It' is amazing what this little thing can do.  The Navigon 2100 has this amazing color touch screen that is way cool.  With 64 MB of built in memory you couldn't ask for more.  It came with a rechargeable lithium ion battery, car holder, car power adapter with TMC antenna.  Once you enter in where it is you are headed the Navigon 2100 will calculate your route to avoid U-turns, quickest route, avoid toll roads, fast/short route and the features go on and on.  It also has an SD slot for added memory.  Some of the features on this device are;  optional...

 It is a great unit love the large screen and the POI database seems comprehensive (I love the logos on the screen). 

The lifetime traffic is a MAJOR bonus, it prevented my in-laws from missing their train home this weekend as a road we take was closed due to accident.

I like the fact that you can update the maps quarterly I downloaded the quarter 4 maps before leaving but it did not seem to take I will try again later. I probably missed a step.

When I got the unit through Amazon it included both traffic and maps in the original price and...

"Computer Lady" will get you in the area but falls a little short for the exact destination.  When going to my sister's house it told me to take a right after I passed the street.  It also told me my destination was on the left when I was pulling into the driveway on the right.  However, in her defense, she has gotten us around unfamiliar areas with few problems and recalculated routes with minimal effort.  All in all worth the investment.

Bought this GPS (Navigon 2100 Max Portable GPS) at Staples sometime ago. We had the chance to try it on several trips both within and outside the State of Maryland. We found it very reliable and very handy. Full of useful information that guided us safely through places that we were visiting for the first time. We simply love it and recommende it

I purchased the Navigon about two years since I was going to vacation in Florida.  I found it to work well except it takes awhile to find the signal once you turn it on.  It gives me solid directions and seems to get me there the easiest and fastest way possible. 

My Navigon 2100 has never worked. The memory card only lasted for about 15 minutes before it became defective and it took weeks in order to get any help from the company's techinical support team. I've gone through tech support and the item is not useful at all.

We required service under warranty. They discontinued their 800# so internet contact was horrible!! Would not recommend!!

Don't know how I ever lived without a GPS system.  Its such a great help to those who are directionally challenged.
