I have been using Umcka for several years now for myself and my children. It is great! If I start using it or give it to my childen (ages 6, 5 and 2) right at the onset of a cold, it usually keeps the cold at bay, and it does not develop into a full-out cold. The only con is that I do have to catch it right at the beginning of a cold--the first sneeze or sniffle, and sometimes I'm not sure if it's really a cold or allergies. I'm also not too good at remember to give it to them 3 times a day. However, I have found it to be quite effective. I prefer this homeopathic and all natural remedy over synthetic remedies any day. It does not cure a cold, but it really does shorten the intensity and duration of a cold as it claims. Congestion Relief It is to prevent the onset of a cold and congestion. It will not immediately relieve symptoms. Relief of Aches & Pains I've never used it for flu relief. Can prevent the onset of a sore throat, not make the symptoms completely go away.

I have used this whenever available. It is all natural and really works to combat cough, runny or stuffy nose, fever, and other symptoms associated with the common cold. For a parent, there is nothing worse than sick kids. It is heartbreaking to not be able to help them feel better, but this stuff will do its job.

I am somewhat of a critic with children's medicine. I always try the medicine myself first to make sure it is safe. I bought and tried Natures Way Umcka because I came down with the first cold that season. It had a surprisingly good taste. I was amazed how much better I felt the next day, my symptoms seemed alot better. It truly cut the symptoms back and decreased the normal period of my cold. When the kids got colds I gave it to them hoping it would work as well as it did for me, and I was not disappointed. Since I gave it to them as soon as symptoms showed, the symptoms didn't even get that bad and they got over the cold quickly. I was suprised but so thankful for this medicine. It has truly been a lifesaver during the cold and flu season. Hopefully they will start advertising better because I rarely see it, and it could benefit alot of families. I would reccomend this greatness to any parents!

I have used Umcka for many years since the product came out. I was given a sample to try. I was traveling and the person next to me at a corporate dinner was sick. Well I started getting sick in a day or two and started using the Umcka. It was helping and I was getting better but I ran out before I was totally well. It took a few days to find the product since it was new but as soon as I got back on it, my cold started to retreat again. It is my go to product for getting rid of or preventing a cold. At the first sign I start using it and I either don't get sick or it clears up more quickly than if I didn't use it. Love this product!

I always treat my family with natural products first when symptoms of a cold or flu start showing. I love that this is specially for children and doesn't have any harmful drugs in it. When my children use conventional medicine it seems to result in nausea and sometimes vomiting; not so with Umcka! The taste is bearable(says my kids) and comes in a convenient liquid for younger children. I have seen this product shorten the duration of colds many times and bring instant relief! I have used this product in both the regular and children's version. I'll start with the regular. This product gives immediate and continued relief. It does not just mask symptoms as many products do, it actually helps to shorten the duration time of suffering from them. It is easy on the stomach and digestive system and does not cause diarrhea. It's flavor makes it easy to go down for both adults and children over 12. It does not cause drowsiness and it also helps to relieve sinus congestion , which we all all know can be a terrible thing when you are trying to sleep comfortably when you are sick. As for children over 12, I would recommend the children's version of Natures Way Umcka ColdCare in Cherry Flavor. As we all know trying to get children to take a liquid medication can be a trial because of the taste. I do not have that issue with this product and that's part of the reason why I ranked this product a 5.
