I purchased Nature's Recipe Easy-To-Digest Fish Meal & Potato for my pet dog as he had a digestion problem that was causing him a terrible stomach pain and he used to keep throwing food when I used to serve him. He had stopped drinking milk too and when I consulted the VET and he recommended this product for my pet dog. Initially I though to serve him a small amount as he likes the smell of fish. He did not eat it as he was too much in pain but the next day when I kept the bowl next to him, he ate a small amount. I waited for few hours to check if he has digested the food and right enough he digested it. I then kept serving him more and more food and he had it slowly till he got completely fine. Now I buy this product for the other pets in my building as well and they too love the taste. The best thing about this meal is that it does not contain corn and most of the dogs in my building, including my pet dog don't like corn nor beef. They mostly love chicken and fish which is contained in this product. It's good for digestion as well and even if they aren't sick, I serve them this meal along with their regular meal.

I have two dogs, one a pure bred collie, the other a boxer mix. My collie has an extremely sensitive stomach, she cannot have wheat or rice nor beef or chicken. This is a great dog food that works with my collie, Nessie's, very sensitive stomach. It is at an affordable price and makes her coat so shiny. I was ecstatic to find such a wonderful dog food for her at an affordable price. She will gobble this up, almost inhaling the food. I have never seen her enjoy her dog food so much, haha. My boxer, Mogli also enjoy this food. Thankfully, his stomach is not so sensitive, but he enjoys the delightful taste of his fish and potatoes, lol. Not to mention his fur is also shinier and softer than ever. Both have enjoyed this new food I had brought home to them immensely. Only a pet owner can truly understand the joy of having healthy, happy pets. I'm glad to say that our little family is very happy for trying this new product. I have four dogs and two have food allergies. This food was recommended by our Veterinarian and it has made a huge difference. All of my dogs can eat it and seem to like it. My two dogs with allergies are doing great with no problems in over a year. Good high quality dog food at a very reasonable price. We buy ours in the forty pound bag from Pet Smart. Quality of Ingredients This dog food is recognized by experts as a very high-grade dry dog food. Seems like a truly natural product and contain high quality ingredients. It is not made with a lot of fillers and has truly helped my dogs. All ingredients are natural, which makes me happy and they love it. Flavor Selection The food comes in six flavors. So my dogs can enjoy a huge variety and do not have to live on just one flavor. My dogs do not seem bored with the food and they have been on it for over two years. My dogs have never had any digestive or bowel problems when changing between any of the available flavors.

I am a dog lover, and for this kind of behavior going on is ok in my book, i have always wanted this, and someone took the time to do this,  I think that they desirve a reward for their time and effort. I think that anyone who is mean to an animal should be treated the same way, that they treated the animal. In fact there are alot of people in this world that do nothing about the abuse, that goes on with animals.. I think that those people should be ashamed of themselves, And i think that they need to stop and think how it would be for them if they were that animal that was getting abused, and maybe they will feel guilty enough to maybe do something the next time they see an animal getting abused

I have a Black Lab/Husky mix (Daisy/ 6 years old), a purebred pinto male Anatolian Shepherd Dog (Ziggy/ 1 year 6 months old), and I did have a fawn & black female purebred Anatolian Shepherd Dog (Madison age 3 years & 9 months.) Sadly, AFTER my beloved female Anatolian died due to "sudden kidney failure"... I contemplated cooking for my other pets or simply feeding raw. It was not until I ran across Nature's Recipe that I became comfortable with feeding kibble/dry dog food to the companions I love so dearly. Their ingredients are impeccable and the price per bag is affordable. I was in shock at what I read on other name brands of dog food. I will never feed my dog that garbage again. I did not know what was really in there until I lost Madison and began researching. Nature's Recipe has not been on any of the recall lists and does not contain products that may be hazardous to your pets health. I honestly feel safe with this brand. Also, for owners with dogs who have allergies to "junk" that is in many of the dog foods, you should really give this food a try. You will not regret it! Our pets deserve a food that will help them live longer and healthier lives and I believe this brand will do just that. My dogs love this kibble, look & feel healthier, and nolonger have allergies. I only wish I had known what I had REALLY been feeding my pets and had found Nature's Recipe sooner. Would HIGHLY recommend this food!

I am glad they have a reasonably priced dog food for dogs with allergies and other issues. They say that some of the ingredients aren't as high quality but my little dog likes this food. Although my bigger dog seemed to have some digestive issues with this particular brand. But I got this food for the little dog who has food allergies and the older one really isn't supposed to eat it since she is on a prescription diet. So although the little dog likes this food and It is more reasonably priced than other allergy specific dog foods I had to stop buying it due to my big dog getting into it and the trouble it caused her. It is nice that someone offers a more affordable option for dogs with food allergies.

I turned to Nature's Recipe Fish and Potato because my then American Bulldog/Mastiff mix puppy was having allergic reactions to everything! My vet recommended a non-typical protein food, like fish, lamb, or venison. (BTW...Nature's Recipe also has lamb and venison formulas and they are great as well). I turned to the fish and potato because the vet said that it would be the best for him. Well, it was. He absolutely thived on this food and his allergic reactions almost disappeared. His coat is amazing and he looks so healthy. It definitely keeps him lean but strong at the same time. He has learned to run on a treadmill (I can't run with him because of knee surgeries), and he runs about 3-5 miles a day. This food keeps him energized and nourished, and it holds up to his high caloric demands. It can be a little pricey and out of some people's budget, but it's a must if tour dog suffers from food or environmental allergies. If you can afford it, get it!

I searched for 2 years to find a dog food that helped out my dog who has colitis. This was finally the one! My dogs love the taste of it. And not to mention the ingredients are high quality with no grains. No By-Products either! I would recommend this food to anyone.

My dog was having a lot of skin troubles.  Many itchy rashes and red puffy skin.  He was constantly chewing at himself.  We decided to start exploring different foods to find what his allergies could be.  After many different foods, Nature's Recipe was the first (and least expensive) food that we found to do the trick.  Neither of our dogs like the taste of the food so that took some coaking to get them to eat it.  I have to mix various items in with the food to encourage them to eat, but they are both quite overweight, so eating less is better for them.  They are now djusted to the food, skin rashes gone and no digestive problems at all.  Althogh this food is somewhat expensive, it is less expensive than many of the other skin sensitive foods available.  Although some may taste better we had to find a way to balance cost and get rid of those nasty allergies.  It looks like the allergy might be to chicken or rice, so problem solved.

I just bought Nature's Recipe, Grain Free, Easy to Digest Chicken & Sweet Potato Dog food for my two dogs yesterday.  As I emptied the large bag into my large plastic container, my dogs just stayed right with me sniffing around and around the container.  I hand fed them a few bites each and they wanted MORE.  I am so please with this dog  food.  One of my dogs probably has allergy to something in dog food at times.  This food has no beef, grain, by-products and other bad stuff that shows up in most dog foods.  The first through eighth ingredients are all real food, not all the meals that every other dog food is filled with.  The protein count is high the fat and fiber is equal to most other dog goods.  I am so glad I found Nature's Recipe-Grain Free at the pet store and will continue to use it.  I have researched and not found anything better than this on the market right now.  We all are looking for better and natural things that are more healthy for us and this is certainly more healthy for our animals!
