I really hate to take vitamins (despite working in a health food store in high school and knowing A LOT about vitamins).  However, if the vitamins taste good and are chewable, I will make an exception.

That is the case with the Nature's Plus Chewable Calcium pills. They come in Vanilla shake flavor and they are soooo good.

I am only 5'2" and a lightweight, so I am a walking poster for osteoperosis. Taking calcium is critical and the Nature's Plus Chewable and Viactiv are my two stables-- since I dont love milk or yogurt. Cheese is a whole different topic!!!

Each capsule has 250 milligrams of Calcium (it also offer magnesium for aborbption) so I typically take 2-a-day. I can get them online for about $5 and they last me a month. Definitely cheaper than Viactiv!

p.s. You can buy them online at www.vitacost.com

Hi Jolie, I know I need vitimins, but like you I hate to swollen those big old pills. They also cause me to have a lot of problems with my stomach. Never thought about the children's vitimins before. Thanks for the info I will have to try them. Debra

In the next few weeks I am going to have to get more vitamins. I don't really care for the ones I'm taking now. Are these a vitamin or in addition to a vitamin?

My brother and sister-in-law are the proud parents of 11 dogs, 2 miniature swayback donkeys and more cats than we can count. They would not believe me if I told them this. Do they make your bark worse than your bite ;+}

I love to read reviews like these. It makes me feel better about my love for Flintstones chewable vitamins. Thanx for the reminder that I need to go bite Fred now :)

I am adult that takes dog vitamins, I know, sounds crazy but I did a personal study on the ingredients and found that they are fit for human consumption and are water soluble. You can check them out at www.nuvet.com/42299 if you dare(: If you are wanting them for your pet you need the order code 42299 Have a great life.

Nice to know there is another adult out there who takes the children's vitamins :+} I am also very petite and have med. problems which pose a lot of health concerns. I couldn't stomach those nasty herbal tasting vitamins so my doctor suggested I take the children's chewables. She told me to find a flavor I liked (grape or berry) and take 2 a day! Wow! I was given permission to take my Flintstones chewables again:+} I understand the petite thing. I am also 5'2 and weigh all of 94 lbs. Because I have lupus and am a bone cancer survivor my health is guarded so I get shots, bone density exams, etc. regularly.

Great info! I have passed this on to another adult who's not so fond of taking supplements.
