Nature's Miracle Clumping cat litter

4

This is one expensive litter! We got this for after our cat's surgery, he refused to go in the newspaper pellets so we tried this one, which is corncob pellets. It says it clumps but it really does not clump all that well. This litter also has a pine odor which reminded me of floor cleaner and actually gave me a headache. It is almost completely dust free which I liked and all natural but for us it was not something we could use long term. I thought the smell was not masked as well as it could have been, and it did not clump like I would like it to. Moisture Absorption These little corncob pellets really do absorb moisture very well. Ease of Cleaning It did not form tight hard clumps like I am used to and it was hard to get all the pellets out of the box that were soiled. It also seemed to get outside the box more than other litters so I was having to clean the floor a lot more. Odor Control It controlled odor decently but not enough for my sensitive nose. Ease of Use It is dust free so pouring it in the box was really easy.

It works well but you have to be sure to add enough litter.

I enjoyed this litter. The odor blocker seems to work well and I can keep my litter for up to a week if I am careful to scoop everyday or multiple times per day. A word of caution with this litter is to be sure to get it nice and deep. The clumping feature is nice but if you don't use enough litter, the urine soaks through to the bottom of the litter box and the clumps just cling to the plastic. It can be messy cleanups if you don't use enough letter. Moisture Absorption It absorbs really well. Be sure to use a lot of litter because when the cats urinate, the clumps can stick to the pan. I like that the clumps form and I can get the urine out quickly. The clumps allow me to get mostly all the urine out of the box and keep smells to a minimum. Ease of Cleaning The clumping litter makes clean up so much easier. I am careful to keep enough litter in the pan to be able to have an easy time scooping. Because of the clumps, I can scoop out all the messes and then proceed to dispose of the litter without fear of getting urine or other waste on myself. This makes it easier to clean the pan too. Odor Control Like most odor controlling litters, after a few days, the effect seems to wear off and I can smell the litter box as usual. Because of the clumping feature, I do get an extra day or two with this though. Ease of Use This litter is very easy to use, just be sure to keep scooping because if you don't then your cats or dogs won't be able to dig thoroughly so they can use the litter pan.

Works great but tracks everywhere.

I'm actually surprised this litter has bad reviews, because it was one of few natural cat litters that I did like, and is one of many natural cat litters that I have tried. I have had my dabble in natural cat litters, and have mostly positive things to say about this litter. The Nature's Miracle litter is very similar to a lot of other natural cat litters. It is a corn based cat litter that uses a natural pine scent to keep away odors, and make your cats litter box smell fresh. I've had a great experience with corn bases natural cat litters, especially this one. I usually don't like litters that have the pine in them, but the scent of the pine in this litter wasn't overwhelming or strong at all. Most pine in litters has a strong scent that ends up swarming the whole house, but I could barely notice the scent unless I was standing right in front of the litter box. The pine scent in this litter worked fantastic at eliminating the urine odors. I couldn't smell any odors at all, and all I could smell was the light pine scent with this litter. Most pine litters smell awful when my goes pees on them, but this one did not. All the odors got neutralized, and kept my cats box clean and fresh. Not only did it keep the box smelling fresh, but the litter had amazing clumping power as well. The corn litter clumped really fast, and it hardened up and made it easy to scoop the litter box. The corn in the litter kept the box dry, and I was able to use this litter for a long period of time before having to dump it all out. The only problem I seemed to have with this litter, was that although it was advertised as being dust free, it stuck to my cats pats and her fur. She tracked it through the whole leaving little paw prints all throughout my home. I was surprised it even did that because it didn't dust up into my face when I poured it out. Other then that one problem I really liked this litter. It didn't irritate my cat, and she didn't mind using it. This was the first pine scent litter that we both enjoyed. The corn and pine together are an amazing duo. More cat litters should be made mixing the two. Moisture Absorption The corn litter soaks up the urine within seconds, and turns it into clumps that don't fall apart when you scoop them out. With the corn my cats box doesn't get wet, and it stays fresh for much longer. The urine never seems to sink to the bottom of the pan and crust up at all. It makes it either to clean, because I don't have to sit there and scrape it all out. Ease of Cleaning The corn based litter are very easy to clean, just like a clumping litter. The corn absorbs the urine, and the clumps are easy to scoop out. They don't fall throw the holes of the cat scoop, I can just pick them up and toss them out without any mess. It corn keeps the bottom and the sides of the box dry, so there is no clumps of wetness in any parts of the box. I don't have to completely clean the box very often because the corn keeps it fresh. This litter doesn't get mushy at all either. Odor Control The pine scent is light and barely noticeable. Other pine litters were too strong, and unbearable to be around. This one was not, and it diminished all the odors, and my cats box smelled urine free. Ease of Use It was easy to use and clean. The litter was light, and wasn't hard to carry. I filled the litter box up halfway with litter, and it wasn't dusty at all when I poured it. It clumped up and was easy to scoop out everyday. The litter seemed to last for a week with regular scooping. None of the litter got wasted at all.

Excellent odor control

We have two cats, one will use anything we put in her litter box and although we never let the box go for more than a day she doesn't object to using a litter box that already has something in it. Our other cat is a different story. She has refused to use more types of litter than I can count and is VERY particular about the cleanliness level she expects in her box at all times. Like most cats if she disapproves she lets us know by leaving "presents" usually on a pile of clean laundry, or right next to the litter box. I first bought Nature's Miracle because it was so lightweight and even through the bag I could tell that it had a fragrance, but not an offensive one. At the time we were living in a small apartment and the litter box was in our bathroom. The litter we had been using tracked everywhere, no matter what type of mat I put under the box and there is nothing worse than getting out of the shower and stepping on bits of cat litter. The Nature's Miracle isn't "trackless" but it is definitely a lot better. The other thing that was so great, especially because of where we kept it, is that it is flushable. It is really easy to keep the cat box neat if all you have to do is scoop into the toilet that's right there and flush. Both of our cats took to it right away and the only odor I ever smelled from the box was a light piney scent.

Helps control bad smells!

I have tried so many different types of cat litter because I have a very strong sense of smell and I cannot stand the smells that come from my cat's litter box. As the name states, this product really is pretty miraculous compared to many of the other types of kitty litter that are available on the market right now. We have three cats so we definitely needed something that is going to be strong enough to kill all of the horrendous urine and feces smells that come from our utility room where our cat boxes are located. This product has done just that. I wont lie and say I can never smell anything, but it does seem to kill the smells a lot more than any other kitty litter we have tried in the past. It clumps up very well and solid and is super easy to clean out. As long as you scoop out the boxes at least once a day, this litter does a great job at killing the smells and keeping it smelling nice and fresh opposed to smelling like a nasty stinky cat.

This litter made my cats waste smell to the high heavens!

It did not clump and odour control scent was horrible to begin and then when it mixed with my cats waste WOW, knocked us out. Worst cat litter I have ever baught. And I was so disappointed I heard good things and 2 people told me to get this one. Never again though. Moisture Absorption Absorbed into the litter and turned almost clay like ! huge mess. Ease of Cleaning Sticks everywhere. Odor Control stinky stinky stinky right out of the bag, when I opened it I thought my cat had gotten into it already! Ease of Use Didn't clump but made a clay like sticky mess that stuck to the bottom of the litter box.

NO dust, controls odor well

I have long searched for the perfect litter.  This is the best I've found to date.  It has no dust whatsoever, although it does track a bit.  If you think your corn or wheat-based litter is dust free, try putting a dark throw rug in front of the litterbox.  You will be surprised at the dusty paw prints.  My cats were even leaving paw prints on a dark blanket on my bed.  It didn't take a rocket scientist to realize that if the dust was on my blanket, it would also be on my pillow.  Oh gross!  The Nature's Miracle has a wood scent (pine?), which seems strong when the bag is opened.  Once the litter is in the box, the scent is hardly noticeable except when the cat gets it wet.  Then the increase in scent lasts only a short time.  The clumps are easy to scoop, but not rock-hard.  It does not glue itself to the bottom of the litterbox like Swheat Scoop.  Although this litter costs more than others, it does last a long time and I feel it is a bargain because of its superior performance and NO DUST.  Other litters have a claim of "99% dust free" in large letters on the bag, but if you read the fine print, you will notice that they are 99% SILICA dust free.  Not the same as actually being dust free.  Try it, I think you will like it.  So will your feline companions.

THIS IS THE ABSOLUTE BEST YOU CAN BUY!

I'm 63 and have had "cats" (with an s) since I was 5.  So I've tried EVERYTHING in the stores as far as cat little is concerned.  Without a doubt, Natures Miracle is the absolute best I've ever used, ESPECIALLY if you have more than one cat.  It's a little more money than the cheaper brands, but again you get what you pay for. Here's what I like about it as compared to other products. 1.  IT WORKS FINE in the Litter Maid automatic box. It clumps well, (not as hard as some other brands), but hard enough for the clumps to be removed from the device. 2.  IT ABSORBS so much of the odor which is especially important when dealing with 3 cats at once.  3.  It's Texture is different that most of the other brands.  It's made of corncob granuals, have a slightly light brown color, and are not quite as fine as say Fresh Step, but the granuals DO NOT PRODUCT DUST WHEN YOU POUR THE LITTLE INTO THE CAN PAN.  NO DUST!  This is really nice.  And it smells nice when you start, but not artifically so. 4.  UNLIKE MOST OTHER TYPES OF CLUMPING LITTER _- This is really flushable if you want.  I've never done that, but it can be flushed.  IT"S NOT CLAY. 5.  The Cats love it.  It's soft, clumps well, and the box remains as "relatively" fresh as it can considering the number of times a day a well maintained, watered cat will use it.  6.  IT DOES TRACK -- but they have a NON TRACKING FORMULA if you prefer.  I'ts a paper base though and I do not want to give up the benefits of this corn based littler (very absorbant) just to avoid tracking.  I'd rather keep my matt in front of the box which works just fine to clean their paws. ALL IN ALL -- The other Manufacturer's would have to pull my teeth to get my from using this product for my cats.  It's the best I've ever found.  Cheap doesn't cut it for me or my cats.

This is a Miracle Cat Litter

I bought some of this on sale. I had wanted to give it a try but was always too cheap to fork out the steep price. After all cat litter is cat litter ! Or is it ?? Until I tried this stuff I would have agreed, but not anymore. I love this stuff. The first thing I noticed what the odor control, it absorbs the smell and gives off a pleasant scent. It smells a outdoorsy rather than an obnoxious floral scent that some other litters have. The second thing I noticed was that it was dust free !!! This is a marvelous thing with family members that are allergic to dust. The third thing was how long it lasts !! It's lasts longer than regular litter and makes the cost worth while. It clumps well and can be flushed. It is light and easy to carry. It is now the only litter I'll use. My cat also seems happier and the odor control keeps the dog away fromt he litter box. I give it 5 stars and would recommend it without a doubt !

Great cat litter that is natural and easy to clean

5

I must say I wasn't a believer in this cat litter until I moved in with my mother-in-law and brought our two cats, bringing the household up to a six cats.  We used this cat litter, and as long as you clean the cat box out every day or even every other day, it does great!   I found the smell to be natural and does not hang in the air like the clay cat litters can.  I also love that it is a natural choice, that does not include any clay, which is not good for cats to inhale (the dust).   If you want clumping cat litter, make sure to look at the packaging closely, as this brand offers both and I find it easy to mistake one package for the other. The clumping cat litter does clump effectively and is easy to scoop.  My one gripe is that my cats do not cover up their poop, so that smell does tend to show up quickly wherever the cat box is.  I do not blame the cat litter for this; however, I do know that some cats do this to say they don't like the litter.  I'm not sure of the reason at this point in time.   You can also easily mix this cat litter in with your current clay cat litter (if that is what you use), in order to easily transition your cats to get used to the new litter and slowly remove the old.   It seems pricey, but I find it lasts longer than the clay cat litters if you scoop the box out often.
