This product is the best I've found after trying lots of different litters.  I'm always in search of the perfect litter and this one is in the lead.  I have 7 cats (plus 10 fostered ones at this moment) and 8 litter boxes.  This litter has a pleasant smell to it...kind of like cedar or a woodsy smell, and the cats really like the texture.  It is a corn-based product and likely to see a rise in price after all the flooding in the midwest.

When I first tried it, the main thing that impressed me was NO DUST CLOUD when I filled the boxes.  As the cats used it (happily), I came to appreciate the clumping (not rock hard, but not fall-apart) capabilities and its ability to control odor.  After about 6-8 weeks of use, it loses its deodorizing qualities and must be replaced.  I scoop and flush daily and dump and replace every 6 weeks or so.  If you have one box that gets used exclusively, you will have to dump and replace more often.  The manufacturer of this product is Eight-in-One.  They also make the same exact product under a different brand name for sale exclusively at Wal-Mart.  I'm sorry I forget the name (it's not available in the Wal-Mart near me) but the bag is plastic, lavender/purple, and has a white cat on it.  You will recognize it by the smell if you give the bag the sniff test.  I've found the cheaper product at some Wal-Marts in California.  The price for that litter was around $6-$7 for a 10-pound bag.  The Nature's Miracle is more expensive than that.  I feel it's worth it because it actually lasts much longer than other litter products.  The biggest plus for me is the lack of dust.  I got tired of seeing little cat-paw prints on my bed.  Think about it.  If the dust is being tracked onto your carpets and floors, it will also be on your pillow.  Yuck.  Also be aware that the wheat-based litters, and some corn-based litters, that shout "99% Dust Free" have a word added between the 99% and "Dust".  That word is "silica".  It does NOT mean the product is dust free, and I can attest to the amount of dust because the wheat-based litter is what I was using prior to switching to Nature's Miracle.

The only drawback, other than the price, is that it does track.  I have yet to find a litter that doesn't, so I'm not sure how you get around that.  If your cat doesn't care about peeing on throw rugs, I would recommend placing a throw rug in front of the litterbox to collect the tracked litter.  I do have a cat that will happily pee on the throw rug, so I'm not able to use that as an option.

I agree with kittyresq's review. I love it. I have 2 cats and I have tried numerous litters. Natures Miracle has NO dust. It does track a little, but I put a litter pad in front of the boxes and that has cut the tracking down to nil. I have not tried the Walmart brand. I did not know about it. I HIGHLY recommend this litter. It's worth every penny. And the best part is every person that has visited has commented about "no cat smell" in my home.

Thanks for your review! I think I'm going to pick up this litter next and try it out. Hehe, my boyfriend is always complaining about the smell of cat food and cat litter, maybe this'll shut him up! Hehe, thanks again!
