I love that this deodorant is natural, but that's about it!

Comments about Nature's Gate Organics Chamomile & Lemon Verbena Deodorant:

I do have all natural deodorants that I love, but I enjoy trying new products, so I decided to buy this Nature's Gate Organics deodorant.  Another reason why I wanted to buy this deodorant is because it's a "solid" instead of the roll-on types that I've been using for the last couple years.

**Nature's Gate Organics Chamomile & Lemon Verbena Deodorant **is propylene glycol-free, paraben-free, aluminum-free, not tested on animals and is made with natural ingredients.  The Chamomile & Lemon Verbena scent sounded like it would be great since I love fruity scents, but it's not fruity at all.  I realize that it is *Lemon Verbena*, which is a plant, and not lemon, the fruit, but the plant's leaves are supposed to smell like lemon and this deodorant is completely missing that mark.  It actually smells pretty manly.

Besides the fact that this deodorant is made with natural ingredients, there isn't much I do like about it.  For starters, it is really difficult to apply.  Although it is a solid, it's an opaque, hard, gel-like solid that doesn't exactly glide across your armpit.  It feels like you have to tug it along, which makes your armpit feel like it's stretching and it doesn't feel very good.  Once you can properly apply it, it feels gross.  It leaves your armpits feeling sticky and slightly damp.  Although it kind of goes away, it doesn't leave your armpits feeling clean or fully dry.  On top of all that, it doesn't work as well as other natural deodorants I've used.  It does work for a couple hours, but I feel like I want to re-apply sometime throughout the day, where I don't feel that way with my favorite natural deodorants.

While this isn't the worst deodorant I've tried (yes, I've used worse), it's not great at all.  In fact, it's just not very good besides the ingredients.  The only way I could recommend **Nature's Gate Organics Chamomile & Lemon Verbena Deodorant **is if you tend to like strong, botanical scents and don't mind damp, sticky armpits.  Other than that, I would recommend these natural deodorants: [Tom's of Maine Crystal Confidence Roll-On][1] and [Naturally Fresh Deodorant Crystal Roll-On][2] .
