I have always leaned towards the more natural or organic methods when selecting things. That's why I was pretty pleased to see Feline Pine Cat Litter. I read the package and it claimed to be 100% natural pine.

Well, it does contain 100% pine, but they have been rolled into pellet form which resembles hampster food. If you are looking for something that is 100 % natural, this is not the product to use. Chemicals are used to bind the pine which resembles saw dust before its gone through the rolling process.

This product claims there is no tracking. HA! For some reason I had this stuff all over the place, even in my cat's fur! No odor? Malarky to that. I know there is ammonia in it which binds urine. But lets get real here, what is urine? Humm, isn't it like ammonia? Okay, moving right along.

After my cats did their business and I cleaned up the stuff that clung to their feet, I would go to the box to take care of that. When this stuff gets wet it swells and turns back to saw dust or mush.

If my cat made ka ka and I tried to use my litter scooper, it sure was a pain just to try and knock off the good litter and dispose of the rest. There again, you have to go out and buy a wide slot scooper.

Sorry but the $7.00 I spent for this product was a waist. I contacted the company to tell them of my displeasure with their product and was told that I was the only one who ever complained about it. Needless to say, but I was not pleased.

That is why I do not and will not recommend this product to anyone. Hey, maybe its better in a hampster cage. It certainly isn't good in a cat box.
