Litter that smells great!

concerned w/safety & comfort of my pets, multiple cat owner, not rich

Ok, my cat suddenly decided she wouldn't go in the litterbox. Cat owner nightmare. I began to try anything. Multiple litterboxes. Different types of litter boxs: big, small, hooded, etc... Then I tackled the type of litter. Tried different brands of clumping. Then crystals. Then recycled paper pellets. All were very frustrating because they cost more and nothing worked. I then tried Feline Pine. The great thing is that it smelled fantastic! My house was beginning to reak, because of 'accidents' and now I would walk in to the great smell of a forest. The good thing is that my cat checked it out and went in it a few times - this was the first luck I had had in months. The bad news is it didn't last - she is back up to bad habits. I am still using the pine litter though because it really masks other smells.
