St. John's Wort was first recommended to me over 15 years ago; a friend described it as "herbal Prozac." Having just been laid off and finding myself dealing with anxiety issues, I started taking it, and have used it off and on ever since. I've been taking the Nature's Bounty variety for about a year now, and have found it to be a great option. It's a well-known, established brand, and it readily available at my local drugstores. Most of these do "buy one, get one free" or "buy one, get one half-off" sales on Nature's Bounty at least once a month, so I know I can also restock and get a great deal. The capsule size on these is smaller than some, and easy to swallow, plus the capsule are well-made; I don't get that "dirt" taste in my mouth, or the unpleasant after-taste in burps after taking it, as I've had with some varieties. It definitely helps me manage my moods better, and I am glad to have it in my wellness repertoire.
