We were given a NatureMill Automatic Compost Machine Model NM5125 from someone on Freecycle.org. They said it didn't work, but had gotten a replacement motor from the company under warranty. They gave us three motors: the original, the replacement and another (from unknown source?) All three motors worked, so I'm not sure what the problem was, but we installed the motor and tinkered with it a little, and it's been working just fine ever since.  I have two outdoor composters too, but the NatureMill automatic composter works so much faster. You can completely compost food in about 2 weeks.  It's designed to be used indoors, but we prefer to have it sitting just outside the door from the house to the garage. It doesn't stink, but the smell is more than I like to have inside the house. And, when the motor runs - approximately every 4 hours, or whenever you press the button to cycle it - it's sort of loud. It's something you get used to, not really a complaint.  One of my 4-year old's favorite movies is Wall-E. Since the NatureMill composter eats garbage, we've affectionately named it Wall-E. Naming it makes feeding Wall-E even more fun, and my family has become much more environmentally conscious through recycling food wastes and using the compost in our garden to grow more food. Overall I really like the NatureMill composter, and would recommend it highly to others.
