Nature Made Prenatal w/DHA

4

I am currently taking these prenatal vitamins while trying to conceive. I have heard that some women have had issues while taking prenatals but I have not had any with these. The pills are kind of big (horse pills as my husband calls them) however, you only need to take one and these ones include DHA which is good for fetal brain development. I do prefer to take them after I have had my coffee and yogurt in the morning as if I dont eat, it doesnt always settle well. I have also received many compliments on my hair since taking the pills.

These prenatal vitamins do the job. I mean they have all the necessary ingredients for a successful prenatal supplement, plus an added DhA boost. I chose them over the other brands on the shelf because the bottle promised easy to swallow gel tabs. Considering my experience during my previous pregnancy with the bitter, grainy, nausea-inspiring UNCOATED prenatal vitamin "dry pill" made my the same brand, I was stoked to try a gel tab! But then I got it home, popped the bottle open and discovered (to my horror) that the gel tabs are actually HORSE PILLS. They're huge. My husband walked in when I had just poured a pill into my hand and asked why I needed a suppository. I wish I was joking here. I managed to swallow it down (which isn't easy with pregnancy gag factor) and I was determined not to waste the bottle. So I did what I had to do and finished the entire bottle with one gagging pill-swallowing nightmare each day, and my baby was born happy and healthy so I guess it paid off, but when this bottle ran out I immediately changed brands.

My Doctor Recommended and Me Too Now

5

My doctor gave me numerous samples of prescription prenatals when I was pregnant with my first child. After those samples were gone, she recommended I try Nature Made prenatals which can be purchased over the counter and she felt they were equally as healthy for me and my growing bean. I also breastfed and was advised to keep taking these, I then got pregnant again, and therefore, long story short, I have been on these prenatals going on 2 years now and I recommend this brand to all my friends. Not only has it proven healthy for both of my children, in utero and out, it also has left my hair, nails, and skin vibrant. I love that this brand has DHA in it, as the health benefits of DHA are numerous. I had negative side effects with some other brands of prenatals, such as constipation, bad taste from the pill itself, upset stomach, etc, but with Nature Made, I have had none of these issues. And now it is habit to take my prenatal every day, it may very well be a permanent addition to my lifestyle for many more years.

Great prenatal vitamin

5

When I found out that I was pregnant, the doctor prescribed me a prenatal vitamin to take ones a day , everyday for nine months. Which was a problem for me because I did t like taking pills and especially those, they were big and smelled really bad and tasted even worse. So I had to look for a subsitude and still keep all the nutrition that I need for my baby. And that how I found the nature mark prenatal. It was a liquid vitamin which made it so much easier to take it every day. Of course I had to ask my doctors about it and the doctor didn't see a harm to me or my baby by taking it. And she understood where I was coming from, when I explained to her that I could tolerate taking hard pills every single day. And she made sure to help me find a subsitude. And the nice this about it was that I wasn't pricey, the price was reasonable for a bottle of a liquid vitamins. I will be taking this for my next pregnancies and will be recommending it to my pregnant friends and families.

Good basic prenatal multi

4

I took these vitamins most of my first pregnancy, during a year of breastfeeding, and during my second pregnancy. They are a good, cheap, basic prenatal multivitamin that does the job. The pills are brown and oval and are a normal decent size, and I never have had any problem swallowing them. They give you the right percentage of each different vitamin that you are supposed to have in pregnancy (I did quite a bit of research before buying them to make sure). The only thing they do not have is DHA, which is recommended during pregnancy, but I just take another supplement on the side to get that. You can find these for a pretty good price at most stores, which is nice as well. All in all I think they work well.

Great price...great vitamins!

Nature Made has always been my favorite brand of vitamins and supplements. I recently had a child and I used the Nature Made prenatal vitamins. My child turned out absolutely beautiful and I attribute some of that to these vitamins. They contained everything that my unborn child needed to grow and all the things that my body needed to sustain her. The size of the vitamins was also very easy to swallow. I am someone that cannot do pills very well, so this matters to me. The vitamins and minerals in these prenatal vitamins is comparable to other "name brand" prenatal vitamins that cost so much more. The price of these vitamins is also very reasonable and they can be found at most retailers. The other thing I like is that I can usually find a coupon available for these which made them nice to fit into my budget. I highly recommend these vitamins to any woman who is planning to get pregnant, is pregnant, or breastfeeding for their health and that of thieir child.

Nature Made Prenatal: a Great Choice!

4

Nature Made Prenatal vitamins are a great choice for women who are trying to get pregnant, women who are pregnant, or women who are nursing. While some prenatal vitamins require the woman to take two pills, Nature Made Prenatal vitamins combine all of the important nutrients into just one easy-to-swallow pill. For some women, taking the pill before food is best; for others, it's better to take it with a meal, so it's easier on the stomach. Nature Made vitamins can appear to be expensive, especially if purchased at regular price in the store. However, women can save money by watching for Buy One Get One free sales or by watching for online deals on the vitamins. Nature Made Prenatal vitamins are a great choice for women!

Naturemade multi prenatal just soo good...

I had to do a lot of reasearch before sticking to this product. I read lot of reviews before buying. I dont know what others say, but for me this is the best pill ever. It has not caused any kind of stomach problems. It has lots and lots of nutrients. It is just one tablet a day and I dont feel any kind of nausea at all. It is just so good. I have been using it from past 2 months and would continue to use it till the due date. Sooo far sooo good. No complaints. Suggestion: try taking the pill after dinner. In that way you can actually avoid all the bad feeling you have about the pill. I usually do that along with my other two vitamin tablets, vitamin D12 and vitamin B which are prescribed by my doc.

Great Vitamins

I do not have any children or plan on having any anytime soon but prenatal vitamins were recommended to me by my doctor when I was younger, 18, and have been taking them ever since. I started taking Nature Made Prenatal Vitamins about a year ago when I needed a new bottle and these were on sale at Walgreens. It seems that with the Nature Made I feel a lot better and do not get sick as much. That may be because they have a lot more vitamins in the Nature Made than other prenatal vitamins out there. These vitamins are somewhat large but most prenatal vitamins are. I do find that if I take them on an empty stomach that do make me somewhat sick to my stomach but I always take them with food or at night before I go to bed and I haven't had any problems. Other than being somewhat large and the possibility of making you somewhat nauseated I would say these prenatal vitamins are great for the price and quality that you get, even if you are not planning on having children soon they are great as an everyday vitamin for women.

Nature Made Prenatal viatmins are a great value

I had used these prenatal vitamins for my first pregnancy and now that we are trying for our second i ran right out and grabed 2 more bottles. I found these vitamins to be rather large and for a time i had to cut them in half to swallow them but i have a phobia about choking on pills so that was probably most of the problem. My docotor was the one that recommended these vitamins over a prescription and i found that they were a great value especially since i was able to purchase them at costco. I did find that these vitamins made me kind of nauseaus so i made sure to take them at bedtime and then i didn't seem  to have any trouble. i did like that the new version that i picked up recently have the DHA added to them  which who knows if that will really make much of a difference but i figure it can't hurt. I'm  not one for taking a daily vitamin but i sure feel that it is very important during pregnancy and as prenatal care so i would highly recommend that you consider these they are not that expensive and can help protect your baby from preventative problems and complications.
