    Took care of my claims promptly., I would offer them to any and everyone., Slightly lower than average rates, Friendly Service, Comprehensive Coverage, 24/7 availablity, Personal Rep who knows you, Great discounts for multi line customers, Great customer service.

Nationwide Insurance — 

I started out with Nationwide with my first car, many many years ago.  I've never regretted that  decision, and never wanted to try anyone else.

I've heard friends talk about their insurance nightmares and hassles.  It's never been any problem to report a claim, change my vehicle, double check rates and ask for the best one for me.   I notice that whenever there is a commercial for insurance comparisons, Nationwide is never included in the choices.   I also notice that my rates are lower than the rates that are quoted or promised on any internet ad.

I cannot say enough good things about my Nationwide agent either.  I am a very happy customer.

The reason Nationwide is not included in the commercials is the liability issues to the company shooting the commercial. Nationwide has been our company for over two years and to this day we, unfortunately, have had two claims due to high wind storm damage. Both times it was a hassle to get items replaced or repaired. Time consuming up to three months on the first claim and so far this time from "IKE" it is going on a month and now they have stated some items were from previous damages (which they are not) and we need to show where this structure was fixed from 3 to 5 years ago with another insurance company. My old agent recommended that I should have never left them and that was one reason they do not offer Nationwide to their clients ... you pay but get no reimbursement without a fight ... rates are obviously lower which explains their need to cut you dry on any repair or reimbursement ... customer service?? I have continuously called Nationwide and my agent and neither will return my call...I am glad you had better luck, wait until it is a claim they don't want to pay for.
